Please host Hero Wars 2.20/2.22

My name is Manu. I play custom games on war3. Could you guys please host Hero Wars Icelands version 2.20 or 2.22. There are lots of players in the community in need of a new bot.

If u really know hero wars...i suggest 1.2 or 2.15

I would highly recommend 2.22 Icelands.

It is a fan-fixed map of 2.20. The reason I suggest it over 2.20 is that it uses RoC mechanics for things like item cooldown, tower kills granting xp, etc. It also has nerfed bomb squads (which is needed) and a variety of other minor fixes.

Although 1.2ar or 2.15 would definitely be an improvement over what you are hosting now, for a variety of reasons.

First, nobody plays Aztec's version of Hero Wars anymore. ENT29 has been at game #1 every time I've looked over the past few weeks.

Secondly, his map has a variety of problems. I have posted map reviews on his map before, but suffice to say, it is not a very fun map. I also think Aztec has ditched wc3 in favor of other games. He told me personally he probably won't be on more often than once a month.

The HW community on Frozen Throne really needs a new bot to host a real Hero Wars map like the maps mentioned above. I can provide links to these maps.

Since I'm knowledgeable about the map slots, having a bot of my own, I will supply that. These are the proper settings in the ghost.cfg file for any of the Icelands maps.

Edit: Forgot to mention. There are three main things that people can abuse, besides just ruining the game. One is blocking creeps off with towers/units, the second is crashing the game by typing -obs and leaving in the right circumstances, and the last is mirror imaging out of a duel. The last is the most minor. If there are any bans for the bot hosting Hero Wars it should be for those things.

Hi guys,
I just wanted to say thank you very much for hosting the game, and I would like to make one suggestion on the bot settings. The current !votestart is on 8 players but the game is hosted as 3v3, so i would suggest that you change that to 4 players as many people within the community are trying to !votestart when its 2v2 and a slow night.

Hey Clan ENT and uakf.b:

Thanks lots for hosting Ent21, things are going great on it so far. I have two questions though.

1) Would it be possible to add an ELO system for the bot, based on wins/losses? What would be necessary to do so? Would any editing of the map be required? (I can figure out a way to edit if needed.)

2) Where should I post if the map gets updated to fix glitches/bugs? I may be doing so in the next few days.

Okay, I imported the library and I have triggers that set up and refer to the values I want. I'm not sure how to do anything on the ghost bot's end though...

Right now I have "Wins," "Losses," and "Quits" as the three integer stats that it tracks. It's not in the current v2.22, but I'm updating to v2.23 later today, and it has the proper code in it (I believe).

Do I need to do anything else?

Hey uakf.b, did you ever update the bot? It's still hosting 2.22.

I updated the map again. Not seeing any W3MMD data stored. But if the map didn't get updated last time then that's probably why.
