<!scores> mechanic for non-dota games

Postby lolships » Thu Nov 14, 2013 10:22 pm

Hello there! I am curious if it is convenient/feasible to adjust the <!scores> command in non-dota games to reflect the ELO of the game being hosted.

I have been playing a few Battleships Pro games recently, and notice that often times when I use <!scores> the bot reports everyone in game to be at 1000 ELO, which I can tell is not accurate as when I check their Battleships stats via <!bs> I get different information.
***NOTE*** I did check the utility of the <!scores> command in an ENT hosted Legion TD Mega game, and it appeared to work - scores other than 1000 were reported on each side, and they did not match <!sd> checks each player. One thing that comes to mind: Battleships has a stat-checking command <!bs> and Legion TD Mega does not (as far as I know). I'm not sure if this is significant.

I think it's fantastic that ENT bots record independent ELO for different games, and they seem to connect that recorded ELO with the <!scores> command in some games, but not others (i.e. Battleships). Essentially, this is a call-out to the admins to see if you can make that happen!

Thanks a bunch,
lolships

Should work next time bots are restarted.
