As far as I know the !challenge command only works for 4v4 games. One player challenges another; they are designated as team captains and choose their team of 4. The game will not be hosted until 8 players are involved.

Well, 4v4 or 3v3 or 2v2, either allow team swapping or not imo...

and picking teams/ swapping teams are more or less the same, only difference is swapping would be when everyone agrees and team picking would be with 2 players picking teams

In both options the elos will be wrong.
I would say no to swapping teams, but I cant see how it would work to not allow swapping aslong as the challenge mode is there ( even if its not used much)

If there was an option to remove challenge mode and not allow swaps I´d vote that

I voted no.
At the moment there are 2 modes, the a-bal !start command and the !challenge that allows you to pick your team.

I feel the modes suffice for the game.

The difference between a swap and the full pick of your team is that is is possible you might already have a player you dont like and get a 2nd one with swap. At least in challenge mode you are able to pick ( in turns ) the players you prefer as allies.

Well if uak.b wants to fix the !challenge command to work for 2v2 and 3v3.. it will be good
However I still think swapping is easier and will be better with the 100 elo max.

Keep in mind, you shouldn't start a game with 6/4 players if there are more than that many players around. And you shouldn't start a challenge if even one player in the channel wants to play a normal game instead of challenge game.

At least this was the original intention of !challenge in the old EIHL.

Noted and will make it known.
Can we also get a !flip command? How was the first picker decided in the old EIHL?
