Experience from where? And which scripts/apps you use for your detection.
Since I play dota, I detecting maphackers when I play with or against them but sadly without a real chance to punish them. Later when Dota-league was there, I played a high amount of SIG games, where I also checked every suspective replay and reported it to the mods/admins. After the end of DL, I had two own bots which I cared for. And now, where ENT nearly replaced DL, I`m very active in the ban request area. In the last two weeks, I detected arround 10 maphackers, which are all banned now. Addionally, I care about bandodgers who are very active the last days. And ofc I know all Ent rules and the gamerules for the maps I play. I never broke a rule and I will never do it.
In the past, I used tools like Gattahack to detect maphackers (I never used the maphack they deliverd). But some years, alot of tools from the past no longer work.
Today I`m using w3mhdet.mixtape to detect maphackers, beside the good old way of watching the replay^^...

Sorry that I wrote so short.
I will bring alot of more mod/admin presene in the games. Also I will help by reviewing the banrequests and if an admin/mod needs support in a case I will help as good as I can. Many admins/mods know dota ofc, but I guess not that many are experienced in Castle Fight, You Td or HLW. Additionally, I want to learn from other admins/mods in general and if there are things that I have to learn for Ent I will learn them fast. Since some weeks, my prefered map is LoD and I play it alot, so there would be someone in those games who keeps them fair and clean of hacks and rulebreaks.
Until today, I played over 4000 Dota games, arround 1200 Castle fight games, over 400 LoD/omg dota games, over 500 Legion TD games (I also mapped it in the past, but I didnt have the time to bring it big, but some ideas of me are in the actual Legion maps, because PanicX is a very good m8 of me, also in reallife and he and his Clan UC are working close together with the mapper. I helped them some times with their beta testings, because I know that very very well from the Shoppingmaul times), arround 500 You TD games, over 600 HLW games (roc, custom, lition aso are included), over 1000 Shoppingmaul games (as I wrote, I was community admin, mapper, developer, beta tester, shamane in SMXP aso).
I forgot some things for sure know, but if you want to know s.th. just ask me and I will answere as fast as I can.

Re: Reallife[iPP]@europe.battle.net
I cannot support this application for a few reasons. You say you have an understanding of dota and LoD, but your accounts have a win percentage of less than 25%. However, the reason I cannot support this does not stem from you potential lack of skill as a player, but if you have been playing this as long as you say, I would have expected you to have developed a greater understand of the game, which would in the end, yield better stats. Also, I noticed most of your ban request activity deals with people who have votekicked you. This concerns me because it shows that you are still not mature enough as a dota player, both LoD or regular, to play even a full game in your team's eyes. I do not know if you ruin games on purpose of if you still don't fully understand it. The reason this is an issue is because I would question your motives to being a moderator, would it be to outright ban the people who consistently kick you? and I fear that your judgment when handling other appeals and requests could be skewed due to your lack of actual game knowledge/technique. !denied for me.

Player skill should have nothing to do with whether we accept him or not. I'm terrible in legion td and I get votekicked all the time.
I agree though, that with lower game knowledge, he would have to be careful when judging suspicious play or borderline intentional feeding, but he can always ask for help from another mod. I don't think this is a reason to outright deny him.

Agreements wrote:So you use w3mhdet.mixtape. But do you also use any parser to check if the clicks are actually valid or not?
So what if someone fogclicks someone in-game do you re-check it after the game or what?
I used a parser in the past, but I actually dont have a good one. So I review every replay of games with fogklicks, to check if the clicks are valid or not.
After that, I report the player in ban requests. You can ask Yodaime about my reports, because he handled nearly each of them and in the last days, he instant handles my ban requests according mh, when I post them, because he knows that I dont report blind.
There are so many requests each day and I know that you have a lot of work with it, so I only report if I am sure.
beerisforbears wrote:What would u do if u think some1 hacks in game?
While the game is active, I wouldnt do anything but telling the others about my suspicion. I wouldnt kick the player, because I cant be 100% sure, that he hacks, till I checked the replay and another mod/admin confirmed it. But I have to admit, that I would instant kick ban dodgers in the gamelobby, when I`m sure about them. An example is the player cleeeeeeeeee asia.battle.net. He is a know hacker who massive fogklicks since start in every game I see him. After the game (and the review) I reportet him and he got banned. A few hours later he joins with his other account c1ee asia.battle.net. The first time, I couldnt be sure he is the same player, but after the start the same mass of fogklicks and the same playstile like cleeeeeeee. I reportet him again and he got banned for maphacking and dodging ban. The next day, he joined with another account calles c1eee asia.battle.net. In that moment I would kick him, because I can be sure that he is the known maphacker with a new account.
These are the links for his accounts:

aso.
I removed the part with Burrito, because EdgeofChaos is right. Stats have nothing to do with beeing a good or a bad moderator or person.
I am a very calm and patient person and if I would become a moderator I would always judge the cases neutral and concentrated. However if I would have any doubts in a case, I would simply ask another mod/admin for an advise or for help.
edit: BurritoCarcass if you want to talk about stats aso, we can write in private messages. I would please you to have a look at my castle fight 1v1 stats. For those stats I`m completely responsable.

Why is it no sense?
Maybe theres a missunderstanding.
What I would do if someone hacks ingame:
As long as I am ingame, I cant be 100% sure that he really hacks (except for known hackers).
After the game, I would check the replay, if I am right and he hacks, I go and open a banrequest, else not.
In some cases you can be nearly sure ingame so you can warn the other players, but in my opinion it would be to riski
just to kick a player because he might hack.

Oh you are right, that looks not that good.
I joined in 2012 but just to make one answere. Then I sadly forgot about that page but remebered at 1.1.2013.
Since then I am active
If you can understand german, then you will see that I nearly only care about questions, where people really need help like concerning illnesses aso.
I know alot of users who just open nearly all new question and write one useless sentence as answere.

If you are promoted, and someone starts a votekick against you in a game for an invalid reason, what would you do?

If he does once, I would do nothing but telling in all chat, that they are not allowed to kick me because there is no rulebreak.
If he contiues and try to vk me more then 3 times, I report him after the game for trying to vk abuse.
If I get kicked, I wait till the game is over and report the player who started the votekick for vk abuse.

Re: Reallife[iPP]@europe.battle.net
The reason I brought it up is because as mod you have access to !votecancel, which stops the current votekick. Just thought I'd let you know to prevent unnecessary votekicks/bans (if they give you bot access that is, which is not guaranteed when you first get promoted, but can be earned if you're a good mod).
I have no problem with giving you a chance as mod.

Oh I totally forgot about that command. Well that changes the situation. If s.o. starts a votekick against me without a rulebreak from me, I would tell in allchat that this is an invalid votekick because of missing rulebreak and after it I would use !votecancel. In that case I wouldnt open a request, even if he trys again because noone got damaged.
Thanks that you would give me a chance
