Dota 2 help!
Dota 2 help!
Soo I play dota 2 before and no lag, now I get on dota2 and its extremely laggy and not playable. I can't do anything. And it's not my Internet because I play like wc3 and 0 lag, while in dota2 it feels like litterally 9999 ping. My ram has a lot of space too. Need help. I google how much ram I need and I have enough room. Extra in fact. Need help please.

The required ram for a game is only to run it. To run a game with high performance and high frame rate you need more than the required ram along with a good video card. Just because you have more RAM than the required amount doesn't mean it'll run smoothly. Factors like, other programs also utilizing RAM will reduce the amount of RAM allocated to playing DotA thus a low performance.

I don't play DOTA 2 but I can try to help. I need more information though; such as your system specs, your FPS and ping while running the game, as well as the quality graphics setting you're using.
Here is a tutorial to display the second of the three: http://wyksblog.com/guide-activating-the-console-in-dota-2/

Re: Dota 2 help!
They recently released the game (instead of being in open beta) and they do have an increase flow of traffic. Maybe that's causing you to have higher ping (but 9999 is ridiculous =P)

Re: Dota 2 help!
If you didn't have dota2 before the actual release, I think they make you play the tutorial. If you were in the beta, you don't have to.
