Eldryan TeamKilled + Assisting enemy team

So, we were doing great, making enemies leak pretty much all levels pre-10, and decided to send hard 12 and 17. After 14 Iznogood (Green) and me (Orrange)were telling Eldryan to start building at me, cause I had Polar Bear and Mutants for 17, where we expected they would send hard.

But Eldryan refused to up king nor teamwork, even tho both me and Iznogood said we had to up king and duo build to survive. Ending up in loosing an 99,99 % won game. Afterwards blaming his teammates for the loss, while everyone said it was his fault.

This shouldn't be accepted in LIHL; Refusing to teamwork, Blaming teammates, Flaming, Teamkilling and leading their team to a death due to not wanting to duo build nor listening to his team saying that we will die 17 if we don't teambuild and upgrade the king. Really, really sad!

I can understand you are mad, but your accusations are not based on the facts. I don't see Eldryan teammkilling, refusing to teamwork, flame or anything like that.

As for your question on who had to build on who, generally that is the team's own responsibility. If you fail to reach an agreement on who builds on who, that is a team mistake.

If someone systematically denies teamplay and makes it impossible to win then we come into action. However, in this game Eldryan offered you to go to his place and he built some units at you later (perhaps bad alternatives, but I don't judge about that in single cases). We don't punish people for incidental mistakes - as you also experienced in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=72&t=11583.

All I can see is that Drahque could (and most likely should) build on Eldryan aswell. So both of you prefered to be bullheaded instead of playing as a team.

Indeed, we're not talking a "One time incident" with "bad rolls" or "unlucky sendings". This is against the principle of a League, refusing to teamwork. We're 2 people begging him to duo build over 5 levels, and in the end, he did actually "accept" it, as you can see after 16 he started building, but it was already too late.

Also, I would've build his if I were able to, but, the units would've split if I build on his side, since our units were would've become too close. He talked about me not having "tanks", but he had the possibility to build in FRONT of me, cause I had build so north, making it perfect. Also, my units would've dragges my wave upto him, meanwhile building my side up against the west wall, wouldn't have caused a problem. Also the fact that I started building for 17 already at 10 and had highest value.

But this shouldn't be a discussion of what was the right thing to do, but the fact that he refused to listen to his teammates, almost as if, he wanted us to die. Since we had warned him that it was gonna happen.

All I can see is that Drahque could (and most likely should) build on Eldryan aswell. So both of you prefered to be bullheaded instead of playing as a team.

Drahque should've build on Eldryan instead of making his own mutant/archer build.
When that's said Eldryan completly ignored the team decission to help Drahque so we could survive.

I would've build on him if I didn't already have several goblins/mutants at the point we found out they were sending hard on 17.

At level 10 I was checking my teammates, saw no siege, so I wanted to do us a favour and build for 17. After 13/14, when we realised they were saving for 17, it would've been stupendus, to build on Eldryan, when I had most value, siege and massed mutants/goblins.

The fact is, that I did say that green (Iznogood) could make the decision which side to build at. He did agree at building my side, byt Eldryan refused to listen. Whcih also is seen at level 14, when I spend some of my 1600 lumber to up king, which we also voted for, and yet he wanted to go against the teams decision.

This is almost similiar to DarkMagicianGirl, thinking his teammates are evil, stealing his money, doesn't listeng and basically plays his own game.

Somehow also believing Mutants/Polar bear is worse for 17, dealing 125 % damage and only taking 80 % damage. Meanwhile, his thrall's being 100 % damage dealt and 125 % damage taken, that means my towers are 125+(100/80) = 250 %, while his 100+(100/125) = 180 % vs. level 17. Making my towers 1.39x stronger, being 1.39*4460 = 6194 hidden value ... (excluding juice)

Somehow he was still believing we could hold and win, which we indeed should've had, since enemies had shit units and were far behind in value, income due to massive leaks pre-10. I find this quite funny, I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

If this is true, and that he's been banned/warned 4-5 times, then I don't understand why he's still ruining games?

Everyone is allowed to make mistakes in the LIHL. If they don't learn from their mistakes we will take measures. Perhaps Eldryan was a bit overoptimistic of your teams abilities and chances, but aren't we all sometimes? From what I saw Eldryan was trying to win and that is important for me now.

I don't want to go into the discussion who is wrong or right. As Diablo_ pointed out, even if 2 allies say something different Eldryan might be right with what he was trying to achieve. I am not gonna discipline someone because he has a different opinion than his allies; I will when he refuses to teamwork. I have seen Eldryan communicating all the time, trying to win and also not refusing double build. Case closed for me.

In my opinion this is another example of eldryan's stubbornness cost him a game. Why you wouldn't build on him is just sad then I am sure you blamed them too. It's never eld's fault just ask him.

From what I saw Eldryan was trying to win and that is important for me now.

Since when is giving the enemy team the upper hand, by not wanting to up king nor duo build, been trying to win? Almost as if he wanted to lose.

We are all human, and we do make mistakes we aren't aware of, but the thing is, that Eldryan was aware of it at all times, and it doesn't seem like it's the frst time - as Furbolg showed.

Overoptimistic? He believed he was God, that we were invincible and I have no idea how he would think his 4100 value with Fortified armor, by any chance, were gonna hold level 17 with 3 or maybe even 6 demons. The fact is, that enemies had been saving ever since level 10, we knew a massive sending were incoming, and we notified him several times. Yet, however hard me and Iznogood tried to explain him, that we had to do something about it, by Upping king + Duo building, in order to prevent being wiped out, then he seemed to prefer running his own show, kind of playing his own game in his own world/universe. He even said before the game started (level 1): "I never have to blame nobody, since I never lose any games". WTF?

I am not gonna discipline someone because he has a different opinion than his allies; I will when he refuses to teamwork.

This is t he sole problem. How are we supposed to play in Lihl, if we can't make democratic decision? How is a team ever gonna decide which wave to send, if one guy wants to send 26, another 27, another 28? Then it's ok if 1 person sends 26, two people 27 and last on 28? Just because, they believe that's the best thing? It's like going into a war, without any guns, but only ammo... This is Ridoncolus.
