It wouldn't surprise me if the Radiance dummy caster is moved to the fountain when the game realizes the hero is dead and should be there.
It being 20 seconds does surprise me though. I wonder if the time can vary. I guess we all learned just to stay clear of dead Phoenix egg anyways.

Re: Remaining known DotA 6.83d bugs
Very nice! I'll just add to this one:
This IS a known bug, but I don't believe there are steps to reproduce it consistently. It's one of the most stubborn bugs that's existed for a while, introduced by one of Blizzard's patches. When affected by this bug, it's not only Sandstorm that doesn't show an effect. It's many looping effects. For example Sniper's Shrapnel effect won't appear on the ground either.
Things I have noticed:
- This tends to happen more when you leave WC3 open for longer
- It appears to be a local player issue, which does not affect the entire lobby
- When it happens once, it will continue to happen consistently until you restart WC3
- Restarting WC3 will always fix it
Of all the bugs remaining in DotA, I believe this is the least likely to be possible to fix.
If DotA 2 is taken as the intent behind these items, Hand of Midas should be able to target the Archer, but should not be able to target the Warrior.
The animation of Sand King's Sand Storm sometimes disappears while the spell is still being channelled. (reported by Jazzy3113) [Unconfirmed, can't reproduce]

Hand of midas doesn't work on Necronomicon's minions (reported by Frank) [Unconfirmed]

Also adding one more item.
Phantom Lancer's re-targeting bug. One of PL's skills introduced in his rework was the skill to rush an enemy when you click to attack them at a certain range. When you use this ability, often times you end up rushing the target and then PL tries to walk back to where he was before instead of actually attacking. It can be prevented by spam clicking but it's annoying.

These are actually very helpful and detailed observations!
This sounds like a problem with the 3D graphics engine, a bug of the Warcraft III version itself. I believe it's related to some textures unloading from the video ram and never getting reloaded. Also, the fact that its frequency increases the longer you leave WC3 open, makes me suspect that there's also a memory leak involved.
I do recall having encountered it years ago, but since then I've changed 3 GPUs and never saw it again. Perhaps it was back when I was using an onboard GPU with very limited shared VRAM (256MB). A memory leak in video ram could cause the memory to fill and textures to be unloaded by the graphics card driver. Perhaps this version of WC3 doesn't have a check or a workaround for that (like reloading missing textures).
The textures in question are also vanilla WC3 textures, not custom ones. The map doesn't control how they're loaded or unloaded.
It's as you said, if it's a problem with the engine there's little I can do about it at the map level. Sounds unfeasible to fix.

I'll test and confirm what the current behavior is, and adjust accordingly. Perhaps I'll need to restrict casting Midas on the Warrior.

Re: Remaining known DotA 6.83d bugs
I know you're only interested in solving bugs but are slight changes that would be huge improvements out of the equation here?
-TP scroll showing the time needed before you can TP again
-Make obs wards 75 gold each and you can buy them in singles
-Show buyback cooldown in seconds
Can't think off the top of my head but I don't see how anyone would be opposed to it so it wouldn't really be 'subjective changes' as you mentioned previously.
Also, someone told me you can't share control with the player in Brown slot. Not sure if it's true but I think it is.
Pretty sure bloodseeker Strygwyr's Thirst spell is bugged. Sometimes the enemy is super low hp and they won't show on the map but you get the buff and sometimes you don't get the buff but the enemy is low hp. Happens randomly so I'm not exactly sure how to pinpoint it.

would also be nice if we can zoom out to see larger map area!

I really don't wish to go down that path. Many have before, and we've all seen where it leads. It starts with "slight changes" as you say, and ends up in yet another unofficial DotA version, different from all others. From the beginning, I drew the line and set a clear goal of what I would be editing, and that was only undeniable, game-breaking bugs or glitches that we'd all unanimously agree on that they should have never been there.
There have been numerous discussions in the forums about switching to another version altogether, bringing balance changes and improvements. If the ENT community really wished to, we could now be playing one of the other versions (like 6.85k, 6.85ne14, or maybe even 6.88 or 7.0x).
ENT has settled for 6.83d. And what you are playing now is a pristine, unaltered DotA 6.83d, minus some hard bugs that have unfairly crashed or ruined games, or gave a blutantly unfair advantage to one player or team. Changes other than bugfixes are not something everyone would unanimously agree on.
Astros wrote:-TP scroll showing the time needed before you can TP again

While this is only a visual change, Warcraft doesn't natively support printing countdown timers on buttons. This would require dirty hacks and workarounds that I'm unaware of, and that could break in different versions of WC3.
Astros wrote:-Make obs wards 75 gold each and you can buy them in singles
That's effectively a balance change that would significantly affect the amount of observer wards that are purchased.
kunkka wrote:would also be nice if we can zoom out to see larger map area!
That's also a feature that goes beyond bugfixes. That said, as a former 6.85k player myself, that's indeed the one feature I've been missing the most since I returned to 6.83d. It has been negatively affecting my gameplay too. It's just a local visual change, that makes sense in the context that everyone has a different screen size. But it's open to discussion whether it would affect balance and gameplay, and whether it would be fair for everyone. Even Dota2 is restricting the camera zoom out.
I will do some research at some point, to see how it could be implemented in 6.83d. I can't promise it will be added though, at least not in the context of this bugfix version.
Astros wrote:Also, someone told me you can't share control with the player in Brown slot. Not sure if it's true but I think it is.
I will test this and try to confirm if it's true.

I also have a vague feeling it may not always work as advertised in the description. I'll add it in the list for further investigation.
