Any further thoughts:

Without a word this guy leaves mid-game after selling all his items and leaving little to no extra gold for team. It put us at a severe disadvantage with the other team knocking on our door. So it was clearly an intentional effort to spoil game for team and everyone. I think it deserves a long ban. It is a relatively new account so this guy could be doing it in many other games.
