So what's wrong with giving them the choice of picking between your version and 2.3b? A lot of people do prefer 2.3b and if your bot has 80 games a day, filling the game shouldn't really be a problem.

Having the game ranked wouldn't really matter to 90% of the players who just play to have a good time and not for the purpose of gaining credentials.

It's harder to provide ranked 1v1 and ranked team if there are so many splitting lobbies.

Fine. If ent is willing to take down their host, I will

1) Host 2.3b risk devolution FFA
2) Host 1v1 risk devo
3) Create a ranked 2.3b section of risk devo if I get support of the remaining 2.3b fans


Let me know what your thoughts are.

You don't see the game of chess changing very often, do you? And Risk devolution has been the same ever since it was made some 7 years ago, it really doesn't need any changes.

This is rly bad example. Chess have 1500 years history. There was a lot of changes. And Chess is 1v1 game with a VERY good balance. Can't say same about 1v1 , specially about ffa risk devo: a lot of useless units, a lot of units with same features... risk can be faster, variety...

I do not know why you think i dislike or hate you psyco. I think myself as an open minded person and i just stated bad sides of your maps(both of them if u have read all my comments). I do not understand howcome you can think all that i have stated is irrelevant. I gave you my feedback on both of your maps and i stated my opinion why both maps should be keep hosted. Yes everyone would like a game that fills faster but you must accept that a group of players like 2.3 better. I am sorry if you think all your work & hours spent is not appreciated but i personally enjoy 2.3 better, not everyone can have the same taste. So just because you like your map more does not mean all should do. Even if there is a majority like you are so sure that likes your map more 2.3 should still be hosted for the group you call "minority".

I played it cause i thougt it was worth giving it a shot and try it out for reals, u dont see me playing much lately do you?
And yes 1 lobby would be better. but since u wont host the better/more populair risk map 2 lobbys are neccesary since people think diffrent.
In my opinion it would be best to have RISKNEXTGEN for the rng lovers, and real devo for the devo lovers
then there would be 0 problems and the whole community would back u up psyco

Is this the reason Kungen is the best ranked player? Your bot is like Bonnie's bot that fill with garena noobs and can not offer competition. Kungen lost 0 times? Play 10 inhouse DLS games and i assure you he will lose at least once

I think psyco said it. Kungen is a very good player but he avoid other good players in ranked. So the real risk champion in the season should be stras. I think he is way more better then most of the players that plays the 2.3 version. If you think the ranked players are all so bad than play some games with me in ffa and you will see you lose

@kungen oh you right I read it a start and thought that he wrote "around 30 games". But i also think that the 2.8 version has sometimes also more then 80 a day.

As a map maker who played both maps and have seen them both unprotected, there were a number of differences, far more than the differences between 2.3b and 2.8.

Its not that I wanted everyone to play "my map" its just that its better if there is only ONE lobby that combines the playerbases from both, which by hosting only one version would inevitably happen.

Untildeath I'm not sure you've even played 2.8 since you were discussing rng so heavily.

Like I already said if I received support from the 2.3b fans and ENT stopped hosting 2.3b I would host a 2.3b FFA lobby for the remaining 2.3b community.

Yep maybe stras deservs to win just like b0nden did last season, and i 2 of the previous 3 seasons. who knows, if i dont feel any kind of porpuse to keep my stats i can delete them so stras/maggi ahve a chance of winning

I have never said that ranked players are all so bad and i have never claimed i will beat you. The thing i wrote was response to that we can not adapt to his new map and only play 2.3. If that was the reason Kungen would not be 1st ranked. I still think that garena players are %99 noobs. I do not really know how Kungen lost 0 times but still the fact remains.

psycomarauder i talked about nextgen in first two posts then posted comments on 2.8. I have played your map enough to write few sentences about it. If only you could take us seriosly and stop bein pretentious. Also i do not think hosting only 2.8 will unite playerbases but will have a bad effect on risk community. So if you want support of all risk players you should start hosting 2.3b and ranked 2.3b

there is alot of talk that i avoid, but i got my games with gurz/haze/galen who were considerd top 5 when they played, the reason why i got so good stats is cause it only took 6 players to fill a game, i avoided when people started talking in lobby about teaming me, that's when i leave. there aren't many people to avoid these days except maybe stras maggi and sweety, but how often do i meet them in lobby? maggi and sweety started playing after i stopped playing also.. u guys gotta realise there are mostly noobs playing devo with some decent players but hardly any top player left
@ Sweety obviously alot of people care including you(?) why else would u keep resetting ur stats after u have lost?

Burnjehova, much more lag in the old devo, units were much slower which changed everything about gameplay. They had higher collision, there were more tree doodads, the game crashed after 1.5 hours, the circles were larger, the game modes were different, there were more game mode options, snipers were not as strong, many other small differences relating to the coding of the map.


@ untildeath Are you ignoring my posts? It takes an incredible amount of patience to be nice to people such as yourself as you continuously shit on me. I already said I am willing to host 2.3b which includes access to all the features of risknextgen.com if you guys lend a helping hand with facilitating 2.3b.

Please explain how I am being pretentious. I don't think you have any idea how much effort people such as myself put into creating these ranked leagues for players or someone like uakf.b for ent.

@kungen it never took 6 people. It has been 8 for quite some time.

Still waiting for a response from ENT about allowing me to host 2.3b and them stopping their host since they are just catching a glimpse of the shitstorm that is the risk community, something they probably know little about.
