Do you want to have seperate statslists for standard dota and easymode?

Yes, I want seperate statslists, easymode differs too much from standard dota.

I thought everyone understood the huge difference between the modes!
I concur in what hatelose has to say, you need a much higher understanding of the game to succeed in normal dota than easymode.

I think all of the top players would be in the top 10 even if they played all non-EM. They just play EM because it's easier to end fast vs noobs on EM (Towers are weaker = earlier throne killing. You can end an em game in 10 minutes if you outplay, and you can't in non-em)

i agree with fangorn, cuz if u get in the top 10 only playing em games, u arent really a top ent player, cuz im sure a 2300elo em player = 1700-1800elo non em player, a top ent em and top ent non em would be better.the name just tell u everything *easy mode*, was made for ppl new to the game, so if u only play em mode u the top new to the game ent player
the real pros play non em games

@moderators: Remove the off-topic posts please.

Any thoughts from the staff? I thought this idea would be welcomed better to be honest.
Easymode seems to be filling only by stat-whores, and noobs these days. If the stat-whores could be denied access to EM, and forced to play non-em, you would get a more realistic stat-list. How about putting a limit restriction on EM to 1050-1100 ELO or so, and let the novices play with equals? Just a though

(PS, I typed in some of the names to some of the "top" players in the alias checker, and guess what I found! Too scared to play on their real accounts, rather teams up with new accounts, against those who challenge their original accounts!)

If you click the "Report Post" button (The little up-side-down triangle with an "!") it's easier to see which posts you want deleted. (For the future, removed off-topic posts.)

Em isn't necessarily for beginners. Top players can stomp pubs far faster in EM because of weak towers and fast gold, but a player who gets 2700 elo in EM games will really be able to get 2700 elo in whatever mode he plays (but slower). No reason to split the game into two separate modes.

If that was the case then why is there not any em games in regard to league games, and bigger games played in dota?

Because EM is a stupid mode for competitive play. Gold/exp gain is far too fast, towers are far too weak. No one wants to watch EM games and the strategy of non-EM games doesn't always apply to EM games. Both sides get the advantage though, so if one side is more skilled than the other, they'll still win. A 2700 elo player who plays only EM games will still have his same skill in non-EM games. I honestly don't see how EM players should have their spot at the top players taken away just because they like faster games.

it's just different mode no reason to separate into different list, and no reason to force players to not play EM mode, doesn't make sense lol

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
I just want to clearify my suggestion; by splitting the statslist, everyone gets to keep their stats. Their spots as the top easymode-stompers won't be taken away :) Their hard earned (errr) stats will be kept!
The whole idea is to encourage those who know the game to play standard dota, and refrain from getting cheap wins vs rookies. It is safe to say that the average skillevel on easymode is beneath standard dota, thus in an ideal world only rookies were allowed on EM.
After checking players on the current toplist on the aliaschecker, I got disappointed to see close to all of them gaining stats on the haven of the em-bots. Both with the stacked acc and the "smurf" ones.

I understand that it would mean some work for the one implementing this, if it is considered.

Encouragement: If you know how to play dota, /whois ent5 and join!

But why should player with high ELO not be allowed to play EM? It's just another mode.

Yeah, I fired that suggestion right off the bat. I was hoping to regain some of the previous HR-era (if I understood it correctly by reading on this forum, the HR bots were popular some time back). But I understand that it was closed, and now those who played HR plays EM? This is just the expression I got by looking at the stats to those on the toplist, aswell as running their aliases through the alias-checker.
Let's put the suggestion of keeping good players off easymode on a hold for now, I totally understand it if you guys think it's a horrendous idea.......But I hope you will consider it!

Edit:
Let me know if it is too much work to make a own statslist for easymode-games (I know it is time-consuming with such changes!), and I'll stop pecking!
Thanks guys
