@N1ll3 @fadingsuns @hazardous can we do something about the sell 200 value on send level and keep 200g, thats pure bullshit honestly. Leak 95 creeps on level 15 to 15k send is pure abuse rly XD

I think 1200 rule says you can't save / sell gold with the intention to leak more / clog. I don't think that's a bad idea.

People could still build pure dead value like mass egg or polar, though.

I wanna rephrase the rule about no clog. But i want to grab ideas from u all. Please post here how would u fix clog issue and we will make a poll with the best ideas

1200+ rules don't allow you to sell in order to clog at all, however allow you to just not build. If you combine it with your save max 200g, it might work together nicely.

Although I'm kinda confused, since you've got a rule against clogging in general.

Assuming mods are unbiased, whats about not making any rules about it but allow mods to punish it ?

I was thinking about this yesterday actually. Fixing it in the map is very hard according to Brouder (at least thats what he told me last time I spoke to him about it). I still think thats the way to go. Making "rules" is just too hard, and almost impossible to enforce. Like how do u differentiate between something building to clog 17 on purpose, or tring to help out 16 with mass coptors?

I was thinking maybe a quick "hot fix" could be, that if u leak more than 60 centaurs for instance, all centaurs gain +5 dmg per centaur above 60. So leakin 65 centaurs = +25 dmg for all centaurs. Perhaps if u leak above 60 centaurs, they would gain immunity to stomp as well.

This is a pretty wonky solution, but it could nerf those insane 90+ 100+ leaks on 15? Just for now at least till a better solution is found.

Perhaps brouder could just teleport the sends to king instead of have them walk the whole thing and get clogged behind

Guys just keep in mind that for the momment we cannot count with brouder until he has free time etc. I wanna make some kind of rule to avoid clog or make a way to handle it without programming.

If u want divide ur topics on rule and program change ideas so we dont mix things.

With regards to a rule, then, I'd just go with the 1200 rules.

Leaving it to the mods to decide what constitutes a clog leaves way too much room for interpretation, bias, inconsistency, etc.

If I may contribute to this topic, maybe we can just tweak the waves that are critical for clog. Brouder already explained that you can't change collision size during runtime, so what could be done instead is reduce the initial collision size of creeps on 15 and maybe on 17 too since those 2 waves are clog critical. That would surely reduce the problem significantly and it would also reduce the randomness of sends spawn and behavior so the outcome of holding/not holding 15 would be far less dependent on agressive/passive demon spawns etc. The good thing about it is also that it takes 3 mins for Brouder to change that variable, since his free time is the issue, and all of us can use that map to create games and test the effectiveness of the solution, and how much and how exactly it changes the whole 15/17 level mechanics.

Changing the collision size of creeps would make it much harder to actually hold it and would make it much harder for king to survive.

@Meshtar absolute no to this:
1) It wouldn't make a clog issue much better
2) It would hugely boost the strenght of the lvl 15, just so you can imagine it better - lvl 7 isn't normally strong at all, it's strenght is mainly due to rly small collision and high speed. You don't wanna die to a demon + small auras send on 15...
