Any further thoughts:

whymee used the linken's bug (it's the last item he completed on his hero at ~49 or 50 minutes, but he sold it after it triggered once to activate the bug). It won him the game - stopped my abyssal many times when defending against his rat strategy, and he needed the slot, otherwise he had zero dps.

41:00 chat time. He had linkens before but I was curious as to why he sold it. Then it became weird when he could block spells without the item.

It's a known glitch however I would guess there's gonna be a bit of debate on this...

When u get into very late game and you have to sell sth for more damage (let's say a divine), in this game, you cannot sell a travel boot for ms, manta for survival, battlefury or buriza. Then it left you with no choice but to sell linken. However without knowing how long the game will last, is it supposed to be forbidden to get a linken at like 30 min game time?

But again it's a bug - it's just hard to prove that people abuse it intentionally...

If he had it for some time before he sold it, I wouldn't consider him an abuser because inevitably u have to change some items for late late game. In this case tho, he bought it and sold it right after it got triggered once, so I'm sure he knew about this scheme all along.

after reviewing he sold the linkensphere less than two min after he got it. and did it in the other game too.
