Bases that should be modified because lack of variety

1. Very good unique base with no real "official" structure placement, even after a very long time. Shouldn't be remade
2. Even though this base uses the standard walling, it has also many other variants of walling it. Arguably the best way is to wall it deep. Shouldn't be remade
3. This base has many types of walling formations and other issues, like 3x3 structure placement is a bit tricky. Thus it's unique and shouldn't be remade
4. The only real way to wall this base is to use standard walling. Pretty much every other structure also has a set place. Should be remade
5. Like the previous one, you pretty much need to use the standard walling and you get very little choice when choosing where to place other structures. Should be remade
6. It would be blasphemy to remake this base, as lord narbtit is #1. But to be honest it's a pretty cool base and even though you don't get much choice on the walling, the other buildings must be placed smart. Shouldn't be remade
7. Although you barely have no choice when placing structures in this base, standard walling, set place for RCs and fruits. This is still an iconic base for island defense that has mostly remained the same through the versions Shouldn't be remade
8. The walling is set to standard walling and you get some choice on where to place your structures, but overall it's a pretty standard base.[color=#00BF00]Should be remade
9. This base has enough walling types, it also gives a lot of choice on where to have other structures. Shouldn't be remade
10. Standard walling, a lot of choices otherwise and one of the coolest workerblocks. Shouldn't be remade
11. Several ways to wall, rest is pretty much no-choice. Shouldn't be remade
12. Same as above. Shouldn't be remade
13. Same as above. Shouldn't be remade
14. 14(1) Standard walling, standard placement of buildings. Should be remade. 14(2) Has a couple different cool methods of placing structures. Shouldn't be remade
15. Pretty much standard walling and standard placement of other structures as well. Should be remade.
16. Very well done base. Unique walling style, standard placement for other buildings kind of, but w/e walling is really cool. Shouldn't be remade
17. Standard walling, sometimes deepwalling. But it's a cool base with other stuff that isn't standardized.

While i do agree that variety is cool and it's nice to have different bases, I don't think all the bases should be that much different from one another. I think it would be too hard for new players and very casual players to learn all the proper wall and building placements.

If it's possible to use standard walling efficiently and still have choice to do some weird walling/building placement that would be the best.

Agreed, but once you learn standard walling, walling decently becomes a breeze at most bases.

Agreed with all, except 5/13/16/17.

5.Broken fountain should be deep walled, unless you're Tauren. (Old Broken fountain, my deep walling is different for latest walling because top lane is nukable from the top. My old walling/towering: http://i.imgur.com/CTONbsG.jpg Broken fountain is a unique solo / situational double base. Shouldn't be re-made. Needs to be nerfed a little for a little less towers.

13. Shit-base, too prone to WW nuke. Needs elevation to prevent this.

17. Shit-base. Way too easy to nuke, no un-nukable spots. Needs to be re-made. Although, it's one of the top tier lumber bases atm.

@Haunt Standard walling works in every base. It is unique walling like top left, beach base and eurobase that makes it better and give variety to ID.

Well, you're talking about how good bases are. I was talking about how fun it is to base there because of structure placement variety.

I agree with your 5, shouldn't be remade, have barely based there and thats the first time I see that walling.

13, might be a shit base, but structure placement is cool.

16, Try to base here, walling is awesome. It might be kind of a weak base but it's still cool, haven't tried out workerblock yet but it might have good WB.

17, shitty base indeed, but I still think it's pretty cool for some reason, might be nostalgia

13. True, I was talking about balance. Beach base has a unique walling/towering, just needs an elevation buff.

17. The only good thing about the base is that it has a lot of 3x3s, and it is hard to scout as it only shares a pearl spot with fountain base (used to be alone). Just sucks that there are no un-nukable spots in the base after like 2-3 walls fall, even if you have deep walling.

Shares the same problem with Beach base. It has a de-elevated ramp, maybe even worse. Meaning the titan can just WW nuke re-wallers.

I think base 7 is good if you move the ramp up 2 squares, that way you can probably do some funky walling.

I like your base 8.

That's 5 deep 11 walls not 12.

Fountain base has some lumber problems though as you might notice because you stuck pools in your tree area.

It's also much more special challenged so stray builders become nuke bridges and it can't really support a tripe base at all.

base 7 and 14 are like a mirrored version of each other and both are tier #1 bases, Imo one of those needs to be nerfed or better, redone.
Sytec base 8 looks pretty neat.

I think that base 17 should be underground and base 7 on ground.

Edit: I would nerf base 7, base 17 came out cool
