You can create a new topic maybe, and add a poll? The only way (in my honest opinion) that the dodge rule might get changed is if there are players who support this.
This whole thread has gone in circles a hundred times and anyone interested in the topic won't make it through 1/3 of this before closing the window due to the constant bickering between myself and eldryan.
As a side question, and I would appreciate an honest answer since I am going to be civil myself:
If, hypothetically, the dodge rule is changed and players can choose not to play a game after it was hosted...
Q: Don't you feel that this would still cause drama and prolong the process of getting a game started?
* It seems to me that allowing players to choose not to play a game after it has been hosted will result in a lot of !unhosting, finger pointing, drama and more difficulty getting games to actually be played. *
In my opinion, the dodge rule isn't perfect, no.. but removing it would be even worse. If there was a clean way to solve the actual issue, I would be open to it. IMHO - the ACTUAL ISSUE is that people have personal grievances and don't want to play with certain other people. Is this correct?
Edit:
@eldryan
Flagged you so that you can read this because I feel it actually continues the topic.

Re: "dodging"
4 players sign to the game
3 players wait 5 minutes... 10 minutes... 15 minutes for the other player. But alas he won't get punished. He could do that 10 times in a row and not a rule would be broken.
Terrible suggestion.

I really don't understand how the one we have is an issue. Or how it can be misinterpreted
