change the elo gain/loss for short handed games

Postby Jiminy_Cricket » Fri Apr 17, 2015 4:49 am

If you lose a player the game is almost always harder yet if you lose a lower elo player it makes you lose more elo because the elo average is higher. This is stupid. The game got harder yet the elo says it got easier. Should be a reduction of elo loss not a gain.

@jiminy_cricket

You mean when you lose a player, the elo average changes so your !score changes?

This info is inaccurate. !score is based on present players in the lobby/game. But, your elo gain/loss is already determined when the game starts with full number of players. Meaning, leavers/disconnections will not affect your actual elo gain/loss. The elo gain/loss that you see during countdown in lobby is what you will get at the end of the game.
