INFO rule(12 hours ban) added on Legion TD games.
But too much gap is there between rule violated time and ban apply time.
When ban applied to a user breaking the rules, the user often does not already have the game.
I know admin cant monitor forum all the time.
So I suggest.
After ban applied, Time counter should be started at when the user connected game back.
Really sorry about bad English. I hope admin understand what i said...

Re: Ban apply time
I understand what you mean.
So you are saying that if someone is banned for w/e reason, you would like this person's ban to start when he tries to join an ENT game or finishes a game, so that the ban time kinda becomes more apparent to the user.
For short bans, I understand that few hrs may not be effective when a person is off sleeping or w/e. However, it also means that his/her rule-break-actions werent heavy enough to be longer lasting or much noticeable.
For longer bans over 1 day span, whether it is applied now or a day later, the duration the person stays banned does not change.
Furthermore, when a mod decides to check a certain ban request, reviews it, and processes it, is an unknown variable. Therefore, despite the suggestion making sense more towards shorter bans, I do not see a need to trouble ourselves to implement this sugestion.

Re: Ban apply time
Main issue seems to just be the amount of time that it takes to process requests at the present time. Currently ban requests seem to be processed anywhere between 24 - 72 hours after submission (With certain cases taking more time due to other factors, IE OP does not respond or GMs do not play the game in question). Also the sheer number of pending ban requests seems to be a bit daunting, on average there seems to be about 40-50 pending requests open at any given time (roughly 80% of them which haven't been responded to by GMs). It would take a lot of time and effort to get the number of pending requests back down to a manageable state.
You must keep in mind, moderators at entgaming volunteer their time, they are not paid. As such they have no binding obligation to process requests/appeals as they come in, they process them when they have the time to do so.

Re: Ban apply time
They sort of are obligated to processing them - the time, however, is optional.
