Elo System

Hey guys,
I´m pretty new to this forum + bot but not that new to legion td. (even tho I´m not rly good at it)

Anyway I have some questions.

How does this elo system work?
I see people with like 50 lose more then wins and they still have like 1400 elo. How is this even possible?
Or if we dont get elo with the wins how else?

Theres also a big problem with this elo system.
People with + 1.1k elo think they are gods and 10 times better then everyone else.
They often flame call you noob for every single leak and so on. (my elo is below 1k I got like 50% w/l most of the time rather 1 or 2 more lose then win tho)
On the other hand people often leave for every little reason just so they wont lose elo.
They leave because theyre mates have low elo.
They leave because theyre mates dont want to cross.
They leave because they leaked a single unit and think theyre whole game is ruined now.
and so on.

But well that was just for me to cry a bit about how much I hate elo systems. ^-^

I´d still rly like to know how it works tho, because I can´t rly see why some people got a lot of elo and some others have a way smaller elo with better w/l rate.

Well people with 50 more losses then wins usually have that high elo because they are playing a lot of games against high elo players. So there games can be a 28 Elo gain for that 1 win game, and a 2 elo loss if they indeed do lose. So as you can see, They only need to win 5 games to get 100+ Elo if they lose 45 games, Which is only 90 Elo. I know this is not the greatest example, But that is the case when people have a bad w/l but a decent elo.

Theres not much we can do about the Calling you a noob, Its that way of gaming since Multi player has existed. Unless he is actually flaming and insulting you, If he is on your team, You can report him.

You are mistaken about leavers though, If someone leaves because they can't cross, or if they leak, They still lose the ELO if the game is a lose, and they get Autobanned for a determined length by our System.

It is also the case if someone has a better W/L But a lower ELO, They play games that are worth low ELO gaining amount, 4,5,6, ETC. And lose games that have a lot of elo Loss, 24,25,26 ETC. It all depends on the games you play and the amounts.

That explains why I suddenly had like 30 more elo after one game.
And sometimes got the feeling my elo doesn´t change at all.

How do I report someone?
Theres this one guy.. everytime hes in a game hes insulting his team and the enemy team the entire time.
No idea whats wrong with this guy.
But hes rly annoying. His name is annoying too. xD

When I should ever have the pleasure to meet this guy again, I´ll save the replay and he will hopefully get banned.
This guy is rly annoying. Good thing he almost always leaves because people have too low elo for him. xD

I got another question.

Most people leave the game before the king is dead when they are 100% sure he will die.
Is it beause they wont lose elo then or because they dont want to have the end animation?

They still lose ELO, so yea, they probably just want to get out as quickly as possible :p

And if you wonder about the ELO from game to game type !scores in the lobby before the game starts, that way you can see how much ELO you will gain/loose
And if I am not mistaken that ELO gain/loss will be the same even though one from east/west side leaves (if you do !scores after a guy has left you will see the ELO gain/loss has changed but in fact it doesn't)

Oh I didnt know this. Always thought it´s still the same even if someone leaves. [I have no idea what I tryed to say there.. ignore this please ^-^ Guess thats why you shouldnt concentrate on 2 devices at the same time =D]
