I suggested the 1200+ back then and I think that was a succes.
But now we have problems again: when a 1200 Elo players joins on 1200+ ; this happens "player" has left the game.
The amount of dodge on 1200+ is just crazy at the moment.
1300+ is a solution and anyway 90 % is above 1300 I would say.
Also would make the skill slightly better I believe.
Thoughts ?

sure we could exlude more players again but the problem is not the elo.
most players on the bot do a backgroundcheck and dodge no matter how much elo the entering player got if he lacks of 1200 experience.
it would help way more if people on the 1200 bot would start to teach and explain why some builds are better instead of flaming, forcing builds or crying for forfeit/tk/report. this way the new player will refuse to listen for advice anyway.
how should they know that its better/more suitable on this bot to mass water instead of building a moonguard and try to hold round 7 if they just played mega/euro/beta before and noone taught them or explained why and how we play on that bot?
on the mega bots you play more on your own and try to feed yourself instead of playing in a team besides of sending and upgrading and since they just reached their elo this way why should they change it?
sure it can be annoying and i often rage and joke about that as well but its still a public bot and you have always to deal with new players and all kinds of personalities.
if people think they are good enough they can always apply for lihl and avoid those problems.
for me 1200 is more than enough and there's no need to change anything atm.

When someone reachs 1200 ELO in ENT18 / ENT96, they (most of them) have already proved that they are capable of adapting their play style in order to win games / ELO.
-Building on the sides (walls) helps you hold
-Pushing wisps / lumberjack benefits you later
-Holding your lane to go mid and be fed off noobs from your team
-Saving lumber as a team until good levels (1 -warriors- ,2,3,7,8, and so on)
Having them reach 1300 ELO won't make them know more than that or better their knowledge about that stuff. At this point, they are capable of understanding the basics and evolving their play style to another level (ENT31), where you find stuff like;
-What unit is good against what waves (mutants holds 1,2,3,4 and sucks 5)
-What unit holds vs which unit yolos (ygg holder vs aqua yolo)
-When to push wisps / lumberjack
-What units needs X value to hold X wave
This is the knowledge that people simply won't learn in ENT18/96 for the reasons mentioned by broud3r. The play style required to win games varies alot, and people need to play in ENT31 in order learn and reach the ''standards''.
Having the requirements to 1300 will simply have people dodge 1300ELO players instead of 1200ELO players.. While ENT31 is more about quality of games, ENT also has to worry about the quantity of games, and considering ENT31 literally dies around 7PM (EST), it would not be wise to decrease our playerbase.
Tl;dr, by increasing the ELO requirement of ENT31 from 1200 to 1300, we decrease the amount of games played while the quality of games remains the same. Just be patient with those who don't understand the concept of ENT31 and try to teach them.

Everything was said actually... wouldnt make sense to make the bot a 1300+ one.
One more thing i want to add: People get their elo in games youre allowed to cross, which makes a big difference to 4solo vs 4solo, especially about the calls when to send. You have to get into it and it takes a while.
