how do i become an in game moderator?

i play dota a lot.. sad to say but true lol. hence i would like to be a moderator and watch people. and be able to ban people when allocated. i have read all the ent rules and guidelines and i am familiar to all kinds of cases. was just curious if that is something anyone can do or if you have to know the guys ontop of ent. also im a member of clan ent so

You help in ban requests and appeals section by commenting on other posts and also by submitting requests, and then apply.

Do a search in processed applications, analyse what they did right, and what they did wrong.

in others words, you can help in the support forum. Technical support, Suggestion, Complaints, etc..
