bans
Is it possible that the way bans are carried out could be reevaluated? Even when someone's net does fail, a disconnect here and there cant be helped. Things like weather play a part in it, and sometimes you just lose a connection. I am certain I am not the only one who feels this way, and the only people that would disagree probably have some of the best service and have never been disconnected. If my 50/50 Verizon service can d/c with only 1 computer connected, anyone basically can too, and we shouldn't be punished for it. The one argument is likely that some people pp to avoid playing out a game. But for every 1 idiot that would get up, walk to his router, and pull the plug or flip a switch, there are 10 people who have legitimate, unavoidable disconnections. I ask that a better solution at least be looked into. Thank you for your consideration.

Autoban duration depends on the user's overall stay rate, number of games played at ENT, and ban frequency(recent ban history).
If you do not disconnect often and have a high stay rate, your autoban will likely be few minutes to few hrs. If you disconnect quite often, it will be few days most likely.
You need to understand that whether you voluntarily leave, or pull the plug, or rage quit, or disconnect, the impact to the game is same - unbalance the game.
You must also understand that if you disconnect often, we will consider your disconnections, whether intentional or not, as game ruining. If you dont disconnect often and have a high avg stay rate, we will treat your case as a temporary technical problem or an unique event and give you the benefit of the doubt and approve your ban appeal.
If you check our Suggestions archive, you will find that there were discussions to improve our autoban system already.
