About Dota KDR=to :1

Hi, guys i wanna aks about dota kdr , for instance KDR: 2.3:1 , why kdr to :1? my 2.3 kdr to :1 account or what? What this :1 means explain to us, plz.

KDR = kill death ratio. 1 is your base which is also your death. Ex. 4:1 ratio = you have 4 times the kills compared to your deaths.

........ your KDR of 2.3:1 is the same thing as 975:433 (975 being your total kills, 433 being your total deaths)

The ratio is simply reduced, so its easier to compare.
