[Rules] LTD Rule Change.

My suggestion is about this rule:
leaking a wave then leaving without using heal that may or may not save the king

Which states, that if you leak then leave, if the king needs a heal or not to survive, you will get banned.

I believe this rule is to harsh for the new players, and in general to harsh.

I'm looking for ideas that we can change this rule to be more friendly to the new players, What my Idea would be, is to change the rule to this, or something like this:

Leaking a wave, then Leaving without using a heal, that was needed to SAVE the king


I believe its much more friendly to the newer players.

I'm looking for the communities thoughts, and the Mods.

If someone did not heal the king and left the game due to w/e suspicious reason(grieve, flame, etc) when it would have changed the outcome of the game...yes, he/she could be banned.

But, just leaving out of nowhere when heal was not used...that should not be further bannable by us. The leave will be taken care by autoban. Therefore, no need to further apply a ban.

All im suggesting is to change the rule, So if the king dies, and someone had leaked, then left without healing before the king dies, we ban them for that.

i think its a good rule i see a lot of players doing it and that affects players Stats and prob make em rage lol but if the king doesn't die it wont effect stats .i support this rule ;)

Dam to my edits :) sry junz.

If someone leaks and leaves and in later rounds (however many), team loses due to one shorter heal compared to other team...would it be bannable under ur new rule?

If so, add "...that was needed to save the king in tat same round he/she left"

I think your over complicating it, Because the player wouldn't be in the later game if he left earlier... lol

The rule says... If you LEAK, and a heal is needed.

You can't leak in the later game if your not there, So I don't think it will be a problem

I agree with the rule change because autoban already takes care of leavers, and we need something that's not as harsh for the newer players.

I support the change aswell.
But I would take this rule out all together. Leavers are handled by autoban, and not healing is not against the rules, so I don't know why it should be against the rules when you left. He could also stay in the game and just not heal, then he wouldn't be banned nor autobanned.
That simply looks inconsistent to me.

I think that just removing the rule altogether is the best option.

There will be too much of a grey area if we say "a heal that would have saved the king" - sometimes this is hard to tell (i.e. lvl 7 or 17) if one more heal would have saved the game or not. Then mods will need to make "judgement calls" on whether or not the game was lost for sure. I don't want to dive into that realm.

Get rid of the rule. It's silly anyway. Autoban is designed for leavers.

The rule was made for people who have 90+ stay rate and leave when they leak lvl's 1-3 and leave without a word. It is a rule to prevent rage quitting when you still have a heal left.

For example:

If 3 out of 4 people leak lvl 3.
The 4th person leaves 33 creeps to the king. One of the leakers leaves before creeps even make it to the middle
Now, there are only 3 heals left. One heal is used.
This heal should have been replaced by the person who leaves.
Therefore, leaving the team even more unbalanced.

Thus, the creation of the rule. If no heal is needed, then the auto-ban takes over.
If a heal is needed, the player is thus banned underneath this rule.

There is a difference between communication, forgetting to heal, and plain out leaving to prevent heal.
