I've been hosting Warlock Brawl Recently and have noticed desyncs. Never/Rarely desynced before wondering if there is a fix for this.
Thanks

Re: Having a Desync While Hosting that is just me
I'm trying to host another version and see if that stops the problem will update this.
Sorry if wasted post.
EDIT: The new version just waits for host and disconnects me instead of showing a desync. The map is warlock brawl 1.00c
Is it that my internet is too slow to host?

Your internet has nothing to do with it, but if you experience a desync then it may be your internet. What do you mean it disconnects you instead of showing a desync?

I've figured out that i only have trouble when hosting a game with more than 8 people. After I updated versions I no longer see a desync message I just lag out randomly. Normally right after the first round.

Desyncs are different from disconnections. Desyncs occur when one player's war3 client views different data than the other players while in the same game. This can occur whether by poor map design (or perhaps intentional by some) or by the bot sending bad data, and the bot automatically drops those who have desynchronized from the rest of the players.
What you're most likely experiencing isn't a desync but rather disconnections.

Stealing others' work and calling it your own doesn't make you a professional map maker.
