I don't think you can delete posts, you can only edit.
And if you want to better your chances of getting you ban appealed then post your username so we know what account is banned, and why you're banned. If you leave it blank then there is a chance you'll automatically be denied.

We do not allow users to delete their own posts because sometimes the questions they ask (even if they sound dumb at the time) can help other users as well.

In Ban Appeals it is necessary for you to put the username you were banned under especially for people that have changing IP addresses. For instance if you play on your home internet when you play games, but make a Ban Appeal post via your cell phone's data plan (like I do 35% of the time in post) the IP address will be different. This would make it more difficult to find my ban, especially when I haven't played on "teller55" (my old main account) for several months so you couldn't even look it up on Alias checker. There would be no way to look up my ban without the username I was banned under.

Ban Requests it's mostly to protect yourself. We "typically" don't ban the Requester of a ban unless there is extreme circumstances, such as the Requester themselves map hacking. So if you post a Ban Request of someone raging/breaking some other rule, the Moderator will view the replay, see that, but if they also find other users breaking the raging/breaking the rules and that so happens to be yourself, you may end up getting yourself banned for reporting someone else.

Hope the above makes sense, if not, let me know, it's still very early in the morning for me :)
