Elo punishment for bot error?

Postby dweiler » Thu Jun 20, 2013 10:08 pm

So we just played this game: https://entgaming.net/findstats.php?id=1539073

At lvl 12 the bot dropped me. I did not disconnect from BNet or anything like that. (Duckie can vouch for that, he was obs and is in my fl and I didn't disc) So because of some error from the bot I got dropped from the game, and now I get an 18 ELO penalty. How on earth can I pp or sth like that if I don't drop from BNet? Yet I did get an ELO penalty. I know in principle you get a ban if you disc, but in fact I did not disc this game, I just got dropped from the bot (for a reason that I could not influence). Does this qualify for the penalty to be undone or will it still be enforced?
You don't stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.

Elo penalty's are ment to be requested by players and then adjusted by admins, but it looks like heal was in that game and will probably adjust it.

The penalty's there to punish people that disconnect on purpose or not, bad luck for you.
