pausing the game

how often does someone have to pause a game without reason and/or during a fight/chase (no big thou) without warning in order to get banned?
And how long would the ban be?

edit to add: when I watch the replay, the pausing is not recorded. Why ?:/ ( i know when it happened)

There is a cap limit of 3 pauses for every player.
A ban would only be applicable if a player uses pause to disrupt the game flow abusing it to his or her advantage. Ex. Pause when king is low hp in ltd to prevent accurate healing timing.

Everyone understands the purpose of pause button. Its common sense.

Of course one does. But I thought we shouldn't pause without telling/asking for if it is ok (I thought it was kind of an unwritten law..but seems its an act of mere courtesy). Maybe the person lagged... I lag too but instead of interrupting the game i simply send my unit back home.
