4 day ban LIHL ban has been applied for PP.
Also second offence.

Re: PYC PP
Ok SuperSexyy, this is an unfair ban! I told you that I lost power and got disconnected. Right after game, I started asking beep about ways to get my Gproxy working... Same evening, I made it work so I have proxy now.. So I hopefully won't d/c again. You make assumptions that I PP but you got no proof. And when I tell you my side of the story, you keep saying "(13:54:39) supersexyy: I just think you PP"... How about listening to my explanation?

Re: PYC PP
These are the options of what happened.
Either you pp or you lost power kicked router off but not comp then you disconnected because loss of internet. A loss of power in any other circumstance g-proxy wont work.
From what others say is that you were in the clan lihl lobby when they came.
My total opinion is to get rid of !draw so there is none of this either way!

Re: PYC PP
my opinion is to just -ELO and no 4 day. can have more ELO loss as it goes on, and maybe on 5th strike get temp.
Re: PYC PP
why am I still banned? Super grow up and start looking at all angles of a problem if you want to be a moderator.. Having a mentality "all ppl who PP say they d/c therefore you PP" is stupid...

Re: PYC PP
I don't know if this helps, but I agree with you Pyc. Ban is very harsh and it seems you're victimized because the admins want to set an example. Especially because you have taken your measures I think your ban should at least be reduced (and ideally just nullified). I hope for you they will do it, because this sucks

You don't stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.

Agreed, unless it can be proved you pulled the plug, I think you should be allowed to play again. It is hard enough to get games going as it is. Ofc we wouldnt be having this conversation if we just removed the draw rule.

Re: PYC PP
Saying that you DC'd not PP'd is neither a reason to ban you, nor to unban you.
You LIHL ban will expire in 24 hours from now.

Re: PYC PP
To clarify, your ban was adjusted because of now-current gproxy usage and the appeals process. The decision was made collectively by the moderators to shorten the ban to 36 hours instead of 4 days. As sexyy said, it will expire exactly 24 hours from right now.

Re: PYC PP
But how is it determined when a DC results in a ban and when not?

Re: PYC PP
I have a proposal!
I still believe that SuperSexyy's judgment in this situation is invalid. Guys, don't forget that this moderator (SuperS) was a part of that game. He was playing on the team against me. I am sure and I bet SS won't deny, that he feels he would win that game if not my d/c. However, due to the d/c they were forced to draw the game. I also hear people talk about his frustration after that particular game.
This shows that SS has formulated bias towards taking actions against me. I think for future, moderators that are involved in specific games where they clearly get frustrated but a d/c can't vote on a decision against that player. In a way, that's abuse of power.
Just and idea...

Well all mods agreed in banning you, if it makes you feel any different. But sure, we can have a different mod apply the bans.

Re: PYC PP
Pyc,
SuperSexyy did ask the other mods for their input before your ban was made. This is how we handle all ban related offenses. I do like your suggestion. At the moment we do not apply and lihl bans without first discussing it in the admin forums - this helps us ensure that we are not making any decisions based solely on one persons point of view.
