Streaming LegionTD

There was a guy in here that had the great idea to start streaming legiontd. Unfortunately he thinks that 3.5 is the version to play and often boring modes.

Isnt there anyone else that plays the "correct version" and maybe in lihl or even pub but with something like prophet? Commentary would be nice.
I try to search on twitch and hitbox every day but never get lucky unless its some very old version.

Stream as in livestream? That would prolly just cause unnecessary lag. But I (yes, I play LIHL) sometimes I recorded my 1on1 adventures, when wifey wasn't around. Feels awkward to record when she is next to me or in the other room, cause she doesn't play video games.

Since I had to get a new HDD and install everything from scratch, I forgot the email and password I used for my secondary youtube-account. I usually use (like I did here) a somewhat dummy email. Like ppjj15@web.de or something silly like that. I create the email with some weird password, use it to validate the account and never ever use it again. So I cannot access those videos anymore and I haven't bothered to record more.

Maybe I can record some pub or lihl games and upload them to youtube, when I feel like going through the "hassle" again.

Well yeah i meant livestream.

But as i think of it it doesnt necessarily has to be. Youtube videos like those you talk about would also be sufficient. I write a lot, and during my writing sessions i always have something playing on the other monitor and instead of having some random shit from twitch playing i would prefet to watch some legion td.

Too bad that you do not have access to that account, but i would be more than happy if you could upload some videos in the future. You do not have to show some webcam or other creepy stuff. The game itself and sound (of the game) would be more than sufficient).

@Hutzu just use hitbox or twitch, tbh. Would be great to have another streamer under the ENT banner.

Well, streaming would have one benefit. I kept recording with Fraps, which made like 70 GB files for 30 mins of video, cause it is pretty much uncompressed. Then I used either VirtualDub or MeGUI to work on that video and compress it down to ~500 MB. So I could stream and not worry about my HDD running out of space, as I have "only" 200 GB of free space on that partition.

I will look into it today and see it works. Maybe bother bit in case I got questions.

Edit: LOL!!! Someone is using "Hutzu" at Twitch already. My name has no meaning, it was a random word popping up in my head. I had to create ENT_Hutzu. Will see how this site works now.

If you need help Hutzu i have over 1000hours of experience of streaming to twitch and hitbox. So i can elaborate as well.

But sounds good! I'd gladly stream myself, but it isn't quite as interesting to watch my own games when writing

you can also use streaming software to stream to a file you can later upload - this will continuously be compressed so you never have to worry about the filesize (unless its more than a couple of hours).

When ThiaZ helped me, we noticed that my upload is too low for good quality. Only 512 kbit/s. But in either June or July I can switch from DSL 6000 to DSL 50000 (which has an upload of 10000 kbit/s - so about 20x better), because my contract with my current ISP runs out at that date. Until then we decided to do recordings and upload them to youtube.
