Mega 3.5 B4, holding 20

I play a lot of legion TD 3.5 mega B4, it's pretty much all I play during my free time and I have played race after race with hero after hero(except dark ranger because EVERYONE uses dark ranger and I hate ending up at 31+ with a bunch of same hero) and it seems like if you get sent a demon + trash hardly any races can hold it unless you sacrifice a lot of income to push higher value. I even try magic damage heavy races like marine and even with 6 hydras I could not hold 20. It seems like some races even without a nasty send can not hold 20 due to their weaknesses. What am I missing in regards to 20, there is no way that almost no race can hold this if they get a demon+ send on it.

what youve gotta do is push your income to the limit pre lvl 10 and end up with 7/4 or 7/5 at arena/end arena and then don't push your lumberjack higher until after lvl 20 (sure if they leak 30+ to king you can go another lvl or if your teammates leaks to you you can get another) but in general if you know 20 will be deadly - why push it higher?
Anywho most games is with repick and what you need is something to clear mass, something to tank (hydras is good here) and something to deal the damage (like meridians, druids or even juiced mutants (if you can clear mass fast)) and then you need something to debuff the bosses (like warlock, soul of villan, upped spectre, ascendant or 1 meridian)
The reason why most people leak lvl 20 is because they keep pushing lumberjack after lvl 15 and even with high income you wont gain more value than recommended and then you WILL leak 20
And ofc. if you get to play orc you just need to mass wolverines (tier 1 unit) and you will rape lvl 20

Wrong. Wolverines dont crit on bosses in vers. 3.5
In most games, it is either AP, SD, or AR so while repick is available, most people build a hero.

You should tailor your hero to your race and also make sure it is a good choice for late game when units die quickly. I personally dont choose melee hero so I either go dark ranger for dmg debuff and -armor, priestess for ranged attack damage buff +cold arrow, mermaid (sorry, cant recall hero name) for speed debuff and frost armor or nature hero for mana regen.

For level 20, bosses are weak to magic as have heavy armor. Lots of races have access to decent magic damage (dark priest, helicopters, fenix etc) you just need to ensure that from 17 onwards you push enough magic dmg for lvl 20. Shadow walks lvl 20 with hades, goblin has no trouble, ghost is fine on 20 etc etc.

dota so ez.... you pick a hero. go to a lane and if you see enemy go attack and rape shit and earn gold by killing enemy or muppets that runs around banging each others heads, with those gold you can go to jewery shop in base or outside for some blingbling that makes you look fabulous and you get to kill enemy easier due to brightness from all that blingbling you got that causes enemy players to go blind but in legion its not simple due to being stationary and you actually fighting dumb brain dead muppets..

It is fairly easy to hold lvl 20 without sacraficing lumber if you know how to build and get your income up. Only race that really will have a hard time is Mech due to the fact that it has to overbuild drastically to make up for lack of magic damage.
