Hey, every game that I play in Legion TD, there will always be delay, during rounds/near the ending of rounds etc.. It can sometimes mess up with sends/getting the gold before the next round starts.
Is the delay due to the servers the bots are hosted on, or is the map performance and optimization getting in the way ?

does there was delay also in brourder map or it was fixed ?
if no delay in brouder map its preformance/optimization probably and cant be fixed then in 3.41

in general more queries= more calculation = more delay.
in Legion td the most delay ist caused by abilities which increase with the growing amount of units and as far i know its addicted of the worst hardware ingame (not sure if the ping matters for it as well) so with some players the delay might start at the first round.
in my map i currently rework all abilities and try to optimize the queries to increase the performance.

The delays you get is random due to how the map was coded. It has little to do with the bots. As you may have realized, the delay you are talking about is not units moving slow or choppy like when you lag, but a delay with your commands such as ping, using lumber to send, or upping king.
Some games during rounds you will see that your delay is 1 second, whereas in others it is 10 seconds.
One trick to manage this delay is to ping a random place in the map and see when the ping happens. So, if you wanna antistuck a unit on ent18 and you ping with 3 sec delay, you antistuck 3 sec earlier than you should.

Last time I checked, I didnt hear much about lag. Some people were experiencing lag due to the graphics (added animation of units) or due to the coding in general. As brouder said, he has been trying to optimizing the map performance. Try the map again which is currently being hosted on ent77 and let us know.

it must be from the map and his code, wc3 request very low connection to be played, when you moving units its like chess, you can even play it from dial up connection, also this lag happen only on legion td, dota where have also alot of clicks and other things dont have that shitty lag. i have seen this lag like 40 seconds... in worst case
