Hi everybody!
I recently started playing TFT again and picked up Legion TD as a map pretty quick after i noticed nobody plays ladder anymore.
I enjoy this new competative scene / map a lot, but i still have a lot of question marks tho...
Can someone give me a quick and short explanation of the following?
- How does the competative LTD system work?
- What are the general rules?
- Easiest way to find ranked games?
- What is LIHL?
- What map/version should i focus on?
If anybody is interested in this newb, feel free to add me ingame. My IGN: Gertjee, i play on europe i dont really know if that matters anything.
Thanks in advance!

- Easiest way to find ranked games?
We dont really have ranked games. ENT games use ELO and anyone can join them. Players wont get kicked/arent forbidden to play in a match whose ELO is unbalanced.

The most competitive LTD system/scene is LIHL, see link above.
- Easiest way to find ranked games?
As Art)y said ENT uses Elo as a ranking system but doesn't offer auto balanced games, besides LIHL. The best public games take place at ENT (on other bots the players are far worse). At ENT there are some different bots hosting different maps/settings, you can find the currently hosted games here: https://entgaming.net/forum/games.php
My opinion of the different games:
[ENT] Legion TD 3.5 Beta #xx - don't play this, it's a bad map with usually bad players
[ENT] Legion TD Mega euro #xx - don't play this, it's a good map version (same as all following games) but the average player here is worse than in the next games
[ENT] Legion TD Mega #xx - play this for now, good map version and ok average player and also many good ones
[ENT] Legion TD Mega 1200+ #xx - play this as soon as you got 1200 Elo on the above bot, it's the same map but with better players (since it has Elo requirement)
And once you think you are ready for LIHL apply for it.
- What is LIHL?
LIHL is the most competitive LTD scene. It is vouched based and (usually) only good players get accepted. Games are also autobalanced here and the ladder resets every 3 months with the winner receiving $50 prize money.

Re: New to Legion TD
[ENT] Legion TD 3.5 Beta # (3.5B4) this map is fun to play once in a while, but it has glitches that people abuse very often. Avoid this version if you want to improve your skills.
[ENT] Legion TD Mega #xx - (3.41) This is the most played bot with the most common/mainstream map. Try to team up with people above 1200 elo to begin with as they could give you some starter tips.
[ENT] Legion TD Mega euro #xx (3.41) if you live in Europe, you can join this map for less delay than the Mega bot. If you live outside of Europe, not a lot of point to join this bot.
[ENT] Legion TD Mega 1v1 #xx (3.41) this is a 1vs1 bot as you could probably tell from the game name. This is a good bot to practice your solo skill. Careful that 1vs1 plays very differently than 3vs3 or 4vs4 games.
[ENT] Legion TD Mega 1200+ #xx - I've gone through the age of the previous 1100+ elo bot but have not tried the 1200+ bot yet; however, I think it plays the same way as before. Do not join it if you don't have fast reaction time to build or to learn, as gameplay changes rapidly in its style. If you want to prepare for this bot, do not antistuck or cross-build in any other map as they are forbidden here.
[ENT] LTD x10 2v2 #xx This is a relaxing map, no point in joining it if you want to be competitive.
Once you adapt to the pace of the 1200+ bot, you can apply for LIHL which is the most competitive league here.
You can come to chat to try and find some players to team up with.

Re: New to Legion TD
I agree with all the posts above (though [ENT] Legion TD Mega euro #xx isnt much worse then [ENT] Legion TD Mega #xx imo
), also:
If you play on Europe-Server (Northrend) then you can only add people from this server to your friendlist, and you can only whisper with players from there aswell + All people in Battle.Net chats will be from Northrend. You are still able to play with people from all servers, and chat with them ingame/inlobby.
