well beep stoped playing on his main acc long time ago....he just dont care about it anymore since so much ppl is doing elo bosting....but he will be always the #1 for sure!

I didnt tell nothing about whos really better, just who wins elo race

About elo system:
ELO system widely used in chess tourneys (1v1 game tho) and it always shows really best players there - champions always had best elo (dunno how its now but previous 70-100 years it was). These conditions required for ELO system works correctly:
1. Noone can avoid the game*.
2. Noone can reset his elo.
3. Obviosly, not use smurf friends or agents in enemy team (if its not 1v1 game).
4. ELO counts only for tourney games.
(5. Not for chess but for on-line games - If used glitches, violator should get technical lose and elo should be recalculated).
*Dont forget, its for 1v1 game. If imagine that we should implement this on team game, I think, u should agree to play with every player in ur team and take full responsibility for result.

So as u can see, no one of this conditions fulfilled in Ent system, so yes, currently its not an objective indicator of skill.

Man this game is too dead to use better elo systems, it's just to give ardour while gaming. To effectively represent skill by elo, you need to separate higher elos from lower ones.... ex: lowbies league: >1000 elo. wooden league: 1000-1200 elo. someinbetween league: 1200-1400elo. and so on so forth. and finaly xxx< elo palyers facing each other, competing for better place.
Tbh i still think this is quite viable even in wc3, but as far as i know moderators aren't prone to changes.
