Would be nice to have warning system.

If u leave a game u will get 1 warn instead of autoban.

2 Warns =ban

Also in statspage in ur profile i could see how many warnings do u have
and game admins could give warnings example for flame

You Could ask Admin to remove your warnings if u want ( if Admin accept removing )

I think making this system would need lot work but y this is just idea =)

Cheers

If you don't have many autobans the autoban is dropped.

I agree that a system of recording warnings is useful, though not for autoban purposes. I give warnings in place of bans when the OP of a ban request violated a rule in the game he was reporting. Since we have a policy of not banning the OP of a ban request unless he is caught MH, a warning is the only thing we can do.

The way I warn is by submitting a 3 minute ban on their account and writing, for example, "WARNING VK ABUSE" before the link to the ban request. To ban for three minutes, fill in .05 hours as the duration. When done right, this is how it will appear in the users ban history:

(See https://entgaming.net/bans/search.php?u ... Ent&realm=).

The ban request is referenced in the history, and if you go to it you will see that I wrote instructions to future mods to treat his next offense as a repeat, so the ban is more severe. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8780&p=42639#p42639

I recommend this is how you warn users until an adequate warning system is put in place.

Doesn't banning the user for one second would be enough, too? Since the purpose is to log the warning and not to ban him.
Thus, 0.001 hours (?)

Well, if the person is actually doing something wrong, they may realize the ban and know they did something wrong. But I dunno.

Clearly it doesn't matter how long the ban is for if all you want to do is have it show up in history, three minutes was just an example. At any rate, you can select Warning from the dropdown so it bans for 0 duration.
