https://entgaming.net/openstats/game/5619735/Sometimes I'm curious how much elo was gained or lost post game. Can you make the numbers accurately reflect the elo change. Thank you my friend.

He means in-game. I agree it'd be nice, like making !is available in-game again.

no. nabo is right. I mean on that page. But those elo scores arent accurate. They dont match up with the !scores when game is launched.
Just use the link nabo posted for example. One team loses 16 elo while the other gains 16 elo? that doesnt make any sense. The low elo team should lose less elo and the higher elo team should gain less elo.

Ah, I didn't know about !score. My mistake.
@uakf.b Maybe make !score avaialable to Island Defense games? This would be very useful. Thanks!

@burnelo is currently fked on id. Once a non-beta id map comes out, u can suggest if !score then doesnt still work.

Are you saying that elo calculations are wrong? Go read how ELO rating works.

It doesnt make sense that one team could lose 16 elo and the other gain 16 elo. If odds are against your team winning your elo loss should be lower than 15.

You must be thinking that out of the 30 elo possible to gain or lose, the elo is shared amongst the two teams (ex. if one team gains 16, other team loses 14). But, that is not how elo rating works.
How much elo you gain or lose depends on the avg team elo difference between the two teams. Think of it this way. Starting from 15elo gain loss standard (when both team have same avg elo), it will be +/- depending on the avg difference.

That's true nabo., but a select few still care about elo (including myself), and since if !score is implemented for Island Defense it will not need to be changed anyway. It's win-win.

@burnid's current elo score is a mess whether you care or not. it'll get wiped eventually. Anyway, stay on topic regarding the suggestion. You can post a new suggestion on a new topic when appropriate.

@nabo.So in a heavily stacked game the elo says 27/3. Who gets what elo when game is finished?

x/y elo change= means you gain x elo if you win and lose y elo if you lose.
It'll be y/x for the other team.
You can learn more about elo here:

So then the elo change can never be +16 for one team AND - 16 for the other team. Therefor the elo calculation on the post game page is either not posting the correct change or wrong.
