No -era Mode.
It is a complete waste of time and all civ players will agree with me.

I won't agree! Just to be argumentative! But really, in all games that are not tournament based, the -era command isn't worth using. It involves completely new play styles that are rarely seen (thus giving a big advantage to the selector of the mode) and it breaks some commands like -space race since there is no race, it's just a 5 minute game of who can press a button sooner.

-era is nearly always coupled with -space which makes for a totally pointless game of who can click command centre faster.

The space race issue needs to be really solved asap, this korean has played numerous games already, and under much discontent won games.

Notice how he activates -era modern at the last moment to ensure his opponents will not be expecting his shenanigans.

I never ignored you. XG was there when we talked about it.

My answer is no. If there's a problem with the mode; Then the mapmaker should fix it.
Ban someone for doing such mode is ridiculous.

The main problem is you never notice when -era is actived. So I said to XG should have a command -mode to display the modes. He said Eureka! :3

So ask to your favorite mapmaker to implement the command or to remove the mode era, will be a pleasure to host it.

Its obvious when era is activated because your capital changes.
Also the only people who activate -era are trolls who are decent players, most people don't know the mode exists.
A rule is an easy way to stop the problem.

I was pointing at this post which you closed without a response. Afterwards we spoke in the ENT chat.

The korean hasn't been abusing era modern for the last few days, he might be banned as octopascal at this moment, if he returns and resumes his space racing, we will have to consider creating a good solution.

When you post a ban request the staff should accept or deny your request. I'm sorry if I didn't read your suggestion in the forum Ban Requests, when I'm reading a ban request I'm suppose to ban or not ban the player in question. Now I believe you know where to make your next suggestion xD

I like to do -timeless when I smell a stacked team and have won many games by that. Banning red player by doing a custommode would totally mock how the map is designed. Interesting how some start to flame when they are losing (and only type GG when they won). ~~
