hi i got a problem i read in a forum of ent thats possible to host big maps until 30 mb but i cant even host a map with 20mb so may u can help me out with this.


i tryed it maybe 100 times so im sure it dont work by keep trying and i allready saw people hosting this map with a bot (not sure if it was ent but it was on ent list by mmh i think)

Which map are you trying to host? Please provide the load code.

I believe our upload map size is up to 32mb. May be the map requires a configuration of its own.

What happens when you attempt to host it? Can you try hosting it again in Quebec location?

I tried to upload it to epicwar it didn't work either. I hosted it on battlenet and people can join. This map is 39mb. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the problem.

Wait for @uakf.b . He may has to adjust the upload limit for your or in general.

I thought max file limit is 8mb for multiplayer and if >8 mb, you can only play the map in singleplayer? Maybe I'm wrong

Yes you are wrong. Since the beginning of 2014, there has been a patch released called game.dll 8mb limit remover. WIth it you can host maps with any size in multiplayer. Then they made a new patch called mix file patch that allows you to play maps over 8mb on battlenet.

The maximum map size for upload to ENT is 32 MB.
