Doesn't matter which game but if 1 (or more) player leaves/drops/etc before lvl 2/or very early in games (say 3mins or so in others), all players must draw game.

I just had a game where player dropped on lvl 1 as builder in LTD and all enemy don't agree to draw just so they can gain 21elo. It's so stupid, I've had numerous situations like this and I can't express how frustrated it is. If I leave I get ban, so I had to continue playing but there is no reason to cause it's a 100% lose, just to waste time? In fact I wasted as much time in that game as possible before coming to a lose because I cannot allow some noobs just troll an easy win like that. Reasoning with other players is laughable, no one will ever listen except a few with normal morals.

i would either say, there should be something like a force-draw if dc before lvl 1, or the remaining players should be allowed to leave if they want.

well i suppose that happened in legion td mega.. Today people refused to draw 1 game in 1100 after they agreed lihl.. so no wonder they dont draw in MEGA..

This is a banal moderation on the game. IF someone (human player) leaves the game it should default no repercussions for others to follow suit. For all players to have to type '-draw' isn't viable, as more often than not the fear of a ban (in certain games like TD's it's even more broken) leaves one human playing the game while there are ten others afk waiting for it to finish.

This 'system' of banning suits Dota fine as consistency there is key, but not in the myriad of tower defence / short strategy building custom games. Especially not for newcomers who's only experience with wc3 is hosting their own games six years ago.

I personally don't vouch for games to draw. It's not that I'm ELO hungry, it's just that I don't personally like to give up in games. There are other options- !ff for instance.

Drawing is about sportsmanship, and in many cases, most do not. It's better to try to play it out, I've won many 2v4 and 3v4 without having to switch to merc- but if someone is the income in a cross, the only viable option is to play until they can get merc or if they can suicide income early enough they can recover.

There won't be requirement to !draw since it won't be enforceable (will just use up moderator time and not really change anything), but auto draw can be considered.

Then I never need to build vs Level 1 Warriors. I just leave, if opponents do send them.

We do have an Autodraw, but it was adjusted due to this reason + due to people abusing autodraw when they get rolls they do not like.

Now the question is whether it is better to either:

1) Stay with Autodraw enabled until builders are picked.

2) Extend current Autodraw until lvl 10 or so and let users report those who abuse the autodraw system. So, we would be banning these people 2 days or so who leave pre-lvl 10 or so. (If you agree with option 2) feel free to suggest appropriate level)

Currently, !draw is a vote. Unlike Dota, 3v4 or 2v4 in LTD is quite imbalanced for a comeback assuming all are equally similarly skilled players. However, we will not be making a rule and forcing people to draw.

The 2nd option I proposed also has its good and bads. Even though we could make autodraw(done by the bot) for pre-lvl 6 leaver cases, there will be loopholes where players will abuse the autodraw system for stats purposes and/or to avoid playing after playing bad. Also, if a game ends soon(within 5min window) after someone leaves and it gets drawn, users must report these players(since autoban wont be in effect). But, not everyone reports violators for ruining their game.

Staff doesn't seem too convinced by the idea.
