New flash if bots down, replays arent auto-saved etc

I suggest getting a little banner in the "games" section where it would quickly tell if you if there are technical difficulties, such as replays not getting saved automaticly by you.

This would make reports much easier done. Recently, one confirmed (and now banned) maphacker got away due to the fact that some asshole was Ddos-ing you so that replays werent saved..

Is this possible?

On your main wc3 menu,
Go options -> gameplay -> checkmark "Automatically save replays" box. Voila.

All replays will be saved after each game by date.

Yet the newflash could be good, like when you change a rule, or anything youd like to get out to "the public" so to say.. @nabo.

Im not saying your suggestion is bad. It makes sense to have something more effective to announce or alert certain ENT related happenings or news.

But, here are two reasons why I will deny this:

1) Users already have an alternative means: as I mentioned, autosave replays or post ban requests after a game (any game is saved as "Last Replay" in your replay file automatically, but it will overwrite itself if you play another game.)

2) We already announce and post updates at forum sections such as Ban Request section or Tech support. If technical difficulty is expected to take quite some time, we will update our News which is the forum's Home page. If people are neglected to check the announcements or stickies at appropriate forums, that is not our issue.

3) This is trivial. We have many other things which we need to deal with and would like to improve on esp. concerning our website. Admins will try to implement certain ideas and improve your experience when it is possible and feasible. In time, maybe your suggestion will be implemented. But, not now.

Will keep your suggestion in mind though.
