How about changing the limit of !votestart in dota from 8 to 6 players? It doesn't happen often, but sometimes late at night, I have experienced that all 6 of the players in the lobby wants to play. No one joins the game, and the players end up leaving one after another.

The downside might be that it can be abused a rad bit easier by the gangs in the easymode games. Stat-boosting with mates, which can be hard to detect.
The upside is that more games are being played, atleast on the euro bot - make the change exclusively for euro, to avoid the gang-abuse on the usca bots?

Dota bots had !votestart ? I did not know this.

All bots have votestart since it defaults at 8.

I don't know if I would agree on that.
Indeed, during the night, ap euro games don't fill up (it might take at least 1 hour), so why not reduce the votestart limit, so we can enjoy more games in night ?

But there can be some abuses indeed, I will explain the situation :
- You are on Sentinel, taking the blue spot.
- You got 2 mates on Sentinel and 3 players on Scourge
- You decided to start the votestart, others players will follow and so on... except someone.
-> The one who didn't votestart can abuse by joining the otherside (e.g swapping to Sentinel to Scourge), and then instant-type !votestart. So the game will start with 4 players against 2.

We can prevent abuses from adding the command who can abort the votestart, and adding a 30 seconds delay once the votestart is accepted.

Dota is meant to be 5v5.

4v4 should be the minimum to play full map.

If 3v3, the game should be nb or nt (no bot or no top) mode.

Elo gain and lose should be different too since as you have said the lvl of game or conditions would change.

I suggest if u want 3v3 to make a new suggestion to autohost 3v3 nb or nt ap dota.
