Not allowed:
  • Stealing enemy team's items (by burning glitch or otherwise)
  • Pooling teammates via burning
  • Taking teammates' items without permission

Allowed:
  • Burning your own items
  • Backdooring

Definitions/clarification:
  • Burning: picking up an item type when you already have one in the type (for example, picking up a silk sail when you have a royal sail); the picked up item is deleted from the game and 100% of its gold value is returned to player who picked it up

It looks good. I have been treating hull pooling ban requests as glitch abuse or unfair advantage. I do see enough ban requests to make a specific rule for battleship.

-We should also add a rule saying that you cannot bait others to type "-zoom normal". It is an abuse of a glitch causing players to desync.
Reference: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=30980&hilit=BS

-Is there not also ways to feed others using boats?

It doesn't hurt tho.

I'll add it to the wiki once everything has been discussed/reached consent on.

Added stuff about -zoom normal related things. What about boats?

I do not remember the case clearly.

-Are players able to send or control boats which you can use to possibly feed?
-Are you able to downgrade boat?

Feeding should be ban-able, players are only able to control one boat.
What do you mean exactly, "Are you able to downgrade boat?"?

I meant change the boat to a cheaper one.

I don't think you can pool by buying a cheaper boat. Buying cheaper boat to buy something else is legitimate.

When the modes are set to accelerated, I believe we should not allow players to rush with Crusader while using the Quantum Accelerator, as it allows them to get the first kill within the first minute, which isn't fun at all.

No, dumb idea. We shouldn't make rules to cater for newbies.

Even if you are an experienced player, doesn't change the fact that they can kill you within the first minute.

Nope, you're just bad.

???? are you getting ganked at your spawn or at mid?

although honestly, neither matter. buy a hull and get 2 points into hull and you survive np.

backdoor should be allowed, as occasionally its the only way for a losing team to make a comeback, especially if teams were imbalanced due to leavers. Since something like a 2v5 is hilariously unfair for the team of 5, they need to be able to play off of the team of 2's lack of movement to win.

I'm curious as to your opinion of pooling in accelerated normal. If really wanted to elo farm,

1) get 5 friends on 1 team
2) vote accel normal (since 5 ppl on one team it will almost certainly pass)
3) pool all the gold to one guy via in-game trade menu which is enabled, since you know, its a trader mode
4) watch the one guy solo the other team in <10 min

Why do we even have a clause for the -zoom normal desync? Can't you just remove the trigger for -zoom normal in the the .j?

Taking teammates' items without permission (since pooling via burning is not allowed, there shouldn't be any good reason for taking teammate's items anyway)

I go to a side shop to burn my sail
Get killed by a sader or whatever, my sail still on the ground
Teammate comes along, he should probably pick it up to deny enemy gold.

Another reason to take your team's items is if they're trying to pool the other team, see viewtopic.php?f=24&t=31204&p=135837#p135837

Edit: While we're on the topic of battleships, I would like to note that bships pro 1.199a (the map the ent autohosted one is based off of) uses the corrupted model antimaphack that crashes most people using maphack. Is this benefit worth the pain in the ass of watching replays for maphack?

Good point. I edited out the stuff in parentheses. Note that IMO burning enemy items shouldn't be allowed.

I think they have benefit of more disables already?

2) vote accel normal (since 5 ppl on one team it will almost certainly pass)
3) pool all the gold to one guy via in-game trade menu which is enabled, since you know, its a trader mode

Rule to say only trader can pool would be good, not sure how to word it though.

Don't feel like it. I agree it seems weird though; removed it since this it goes under general game ruining category and should be obvious.

More disables and more item slots in the long run, sure, but depending on how early it became lopsided, the team of 5 could easily be hilariously outgunned by the team of 2
