Ent53 currently hosts an outdated version of Custom Castle Defence. The version hosted is 4.2 but the more recent iterations of the map (4.7 and 7.0) have been out for a while and feature better balacing both unit/base wise. Is there a reason the older map is used? WOuld it be possible to host the newer version?

can't find a proper version of 7.0 on that however

I'm wondering if they are official versions of Castle Defense, as there are unprotected ones which users have access to edit anything they want.

Anyways, I support the map due to the fact it does not contain any cheatpacks.

I'm honestly not aware of any significant changes between 4.7 and 7.0, however i'd assume 7.0 to be the more recent and therefore better version. The map does have a problem with disconnecting people, its possible this issue was resolved to some degree in the later iterations.

There was once, long ago an official site for castle defence, but that has long since been defunct. I have some versions of the map on my older computer I'd be happy to upload, AFAIK they do not contain any hidden triggers or cheats, perhaps you guys could vet them somehow, I''m somewhat unfamiliar with the map editor and its associated functions. Thanks for the reply!
