I thought that if there were two leavers from one side at start of the game that it was auto drawn? We had 1 person leave, another was afk, paused the game to wait (only a few seconds of build time though) but red unpaused, votekicked then wouldnt draw the game, all during first round

Afk votekicks don't count as leavers for the auto draw.

Maybe it could be changed that they do?

Dunno how easy it would be to implement but if two people leave or are kicked within 4 minutes of start of the game, it be an auto draw?

In my case, we had someone drop at map load and another afk, we kicked the afk so are now 4v2 with the other team refusing to draw

Hm lol. It was supposed to be "afaik ..." instead of "AFK ..." so no i'm not sure xd.

votekicks do not count as leaving.

In most games, people are not kicked or should not be votekicked due to afk within the first 1-2 minutes.
Why? Because they have a life and they could still catch up if they are back within 1-5 minutes of the game.

It is possible to catch up in dota and it is also possible to go merc in LTD. If they afk too long, they will be either be kicked through -kickafk ingame command or be votekicked by players for game ruining.

Since this is a discussion about votekick to be considered the same as leaving within the 1-2 minute autodraw time frame, I am rejecting this due to reasons stated above.

If you feel that someone should be punished further than leaving or w/e because they ruined ur game by forcefully giving u an auto-loss or w/e reasons, feel free to post a ban request with convincing reasons.
