a new rule about lying about rules should be added to prevent farther banning without knowledge of a new rule...

I feel like that should count as lieing about modes but it isn't well implied.

lying about rules has been enforced (as warn, ban for something else) in the past though.

Well they didnt really state that lying about rules is basicly bannable on the wiki so i figuer it was in the rules but it really doesn't state that its bannable tho .

Most of the rules are derived from common sense.

If your actions does not influence the game outcome or is not game ruin or is not cheating...you are likely not breaking a rule.

Anyway, you are supposed to know the rules of ENT and its games. So, getting tricked and trolled is your issue.

A lot of mod judgement and bans differ case by case. Some rules can be specific, but lots r general and flexible for a reason.

Our rules cover what u r complaining about. Post a brq and a mod will see if the accused violator deserves a ban.

so from what ur telling at anytime u feel that u have the right to ban anyone if they feel like they breaking a rule not even giving a warning nor knowledge of a unknow rule due to u guys stating that we have to use common sense ???? all i'm asking is just a simpley update on ur guys wiki thats all im asking for nothing more nothing less thats it .. not knowing all the rules is kinda hard to tell what u can and can't break in ur guys book of rules .

I'm not quite sure theres a valid reason to let somebody intentionally lie about the rules.

There was a pretty observable instance where a rule change occurred in LTD (or whatever) about anti-stuck that resulted in tons of people getting banned, are you saying its ok for me to go into LTD games and claim that the rule got reverted and now AS abuse is allowed?

While people should technically know the rules, you know they don't know all of them and that many users have never been to the website. So while in theory your point about people knowing the rules is correct, in practice it is not sound.

I am not sure why u quoted tat part. The quote u took from me simply means tat we judge brqs case by case, so certain rules r general.

Someone lies to u. And? Wat is ur argument? U got trolled. It is tat simple. However, if this troll leads u into game ruining, you and or him may get a ban depending on the degrees and impacts of game ruining.

The rule about ltd...tat was for a fairly new bot 1v1 ltd. It is not tat a rule was changed, but we ADDED a rule because people started to use AS in a way it was not intentionally made for use. If u bait someone into breaking a rule, yes, u will get ban.

As i said, POST a brq and things will b dealt with.

Do not lie about modes and announce them in lobby or vote for them if you intent to choose a non-default mode.

We dont need a general rule stating that we will ban ppl who lie about rules. This is kinda obvious, but it depends on context and its impact on the game. No need to specifically make such a rule.

It's already a rule... and yes it's there for a reason.

We dont have one generally stated for ent rules, just for lying or changing modes without consent.

These folks want u to add General rule:

"Do not lie about the rules"

"the rules" like ENT general & specific rules? Every player is responsible for himself to know the rules. I dont see the need to add another rule.
It also might cause problems than it would solve because majority of pubs think they are a genius and trash talk about wrong rules.
