[Suggestion] Elo Penalty

Hello ENT-staff,

I don't know if this was ever suggested and I hope I am in the right forum. I have seen several people ignoring warnings about rule-violations ("So what? Report me, b*tch!") and such. I think people don't care about a couple of days ban. Maybe include an ELO-penalty as well?

I only saw your rules, but I haven't seen a list for "Violation A -> Penalty for A" list, if you guys have a public one to begin with. So I don't know if someone keeps breaking a rule, the penalty will be stacked or not (eventually resulting in permban).

Just my thoughts.

Thanks for reading and the site!

Repeat offenders receive longer bans, ELO penalty is not an effective option.

moved to suggestions

however, i am not in support of this. many people who say that think (wrongly) that they can ip dodge on a new account. thus an elo penalty would be useless, even if they werent caught by chance.

No need for this.

Ban is a result of a consequence. During ban time, u will not be able to play on any ent bot. Isnt not being able to play...a good enough punishment?

Ban dodgers will b dealt with and accounts will be banned for a yr, meaning u lose all ur elo.
Stats wipe will b considered for certain cases.

Elo penalty for every ban case makes things complicated rather.
