Ban abusers for real

Hi,

as I already said in one of my latest ban requests, I believe your ban policy is not effective.
People know they will get banned, yet they don't mind because they can just change IP, make a new account and start over.

my suggestions:
- always keep track of everybody's aliases, all of them. when you ban someone you ban all of his aliases.
- make bans harder... except for map hacking i rarely see bans longer than 5-7 days.
- keep track of bans and make them even harder for who's getting banned again.
- I know this is probably not possible to do, but I believe it would be the only real solution the problem: ban BNET serial number. Most of the abusers are kids who wouldn't spend 5-10 EUR/USD on a new TFT code, so this will keep them out.

bye

- make bans harder... except for map hacking i rarely see bans longer than 5-7 days. Because not all bans deserve longer
- keep track of bans and make them even harder for who's getting banned again. Bans are recorded on the account they were banned on. So yes, repeat offenders are banned harder

-We already keep track of all aliases. I don't see the point of banning all of them when we ban a main account. If they're gonna IP dodge they can just go make a new acc thats not on the alias list anyways.
-I tend to ban game ruiniers for 2 weeks. But everyone has a different way of going about banning. 7 days is a long time anyways.
-Already done
-Can't be done, we don't have access to cd-keys.

I recommend banning alias as evidence for whatever it will be needed.

The system automatically erased inactive accounts (accounts which might also be in the range of an ip range ban).
You'll lose any IPs/hostnames from the accounts if you do not ban them for tracking.

It's useful to track back a range/provider someone uses if needed. Plus, it avoids possible dodges if you ban the alias - which would be in our favor.
