Moderator & Ban Request Suggestion

Hi, as you may or may not know I am BouncingHitman.
I just thought I would make a short and simple suggestion here for all the moderators around this wonderful community.
Every day I browse the website and I lend up in the Ban request forums. In here I see a whole bunch of ban requests that are unanswered/unprocessed.
I just thought it would be great if the staff implemented a rule that require staff members to do a minimum of five ban requests per week with some exceptions.
With this, players will not need to be frustrated and would not have to wait for their ban request to be processed and certain moderators won't be stuck doing all of the requests.
If you think about the number of moderators we have and each of them did at least 5 requests a day with some exceptions, the forum would be paradise and it would provide the players with fast service.

Reds don't do them.
Greens don't do them.
1/4 of staff inactive.
1/4 of staff just posting and not processing.
1/4 of staff not caring about forum
1/4 of staff active

yes but art)y, that is not acceptable in my eyes. if you want the special privileges that come with being a game moderator then you need to be active and do ban requests. just like when you applied for the GM position you had to be active ON the forums. so why should it change once you became a GM?

We become moderators to process requests. We can only do as many as we can do. Take not we don't get paid for this, we try our hardest to process ban requests quickly to provide the best gaming experience

We could remove everyone who doesn't do whatever amount of ban requests, like uakf.b, but what would that accomplish? Players volunteer to be moderator _so that_ they can process ban requests and do other things; unless you abuse your powers, being a moderator doesn't have any advantage. Removing volunteer's ability to volunteer simply because they don't volunteer enough doesn't make sense.
So only effect I can see is less ban requests being processed, which seems to be opposite from your intended goal.
Edit:
if you want the special privileges that come with being a game moderator then you need to be active and do ban requests.
Maybe a special burden, but definitely not a special privilege.

If we don't do anything, more and more ban requests will just pile on, on top of each other. Luckily, we have a moderator who doesn't allow that and dedicates his time into processing the ban requests but unfortunately he cannot do all of them all the time.
If someone wants to apply to be a moderator, then just goes AFK for 27 days, what is the point?
Someone else could replace that spot! I understand it is volunteering, but do not apply somewhere and not do anything! If someone would apply to be a volunteer for a charity, red cross and whatever, they do not show up, this will reflect on how bad the community is, how irresponsible they are.
If we implement this rule, all moderators will be active and we will not be like BGN, unactive, corrupted staff and etc. Do not forget the title says Moderator, not reds, not anyone else.
When I say "with some exceptions", I mean the moderator NEEDS to give a notice that he won't be active for a short period and not just vanish and come back whenever he wants.
This will improve Enterprise and will keep the staff close and will provide fast service for our players.

I think being able to check aliases and look into peoples stats like stay % their IP and so forth is a privilege.

No, that's a tool provided so that moderator can do what they volunteered to do.

There's not specific slots to replace. Anyone can apply to be moderator.

We remove moderators who have gone inactive. I'm sure the Red Cross or whatever doesn't call any of its volunteers irresponsible, even if they don't have the time to do much for the organization.
Do not forget the title says Moderator, not reds, not anyone else.
Forum / red admins (besides me) are also volunteering their time, why should they be different?
This will improve Enterprise and will keep the staff close and will provide fast service for our players.
Your only argument that there could be quicker handling of ban requests/appeals is that people could take their slots, but since there aren't specific slots that's simply not true. So the only effect this would have is providing slower "service".

the argument that it takes up slots holds no water. however, coming from someone who has had GM powers once and knows what its like with and without i will say that there is a huge difference. The tools as you call it are what i call privileges. being able to use those tools is a privilege not a right. otherwise we would all be able to do so. but another one would be using ping and setting game latency so that everyone can play with a more lag/delay free environment.
all of this being said. i feel that if you are inactive. and dont do many ban requests then someone will pick up the slack. its also a privilege to say that I am a moderator of the biggest and best clan of the wc3 community. so why would you let someone who hardly does any work stay a moderator. when a particular moderator i have in mind hasnt done much at all since i became a mod until now. this person does the BARE minimum when it comes to handling ban requests and also when he does comment on something its usually a useless comment which he should have just said nothing than say something at all.

If you have a specific complaint about a Moderator, start a Complaint or PM me or one of the other Reds.

Who says they don't? Moderators post all the time in the Admin forum when they are going to be inactive for short periods of time. What relevance would that have to the general public to need to post that in the public General Discussion forum?
Like I said, if you have specific moderators in mind that you feel are inactive, feel free to PM a red Administrator and state your feelings. They can then tell you if that person had let us know that they were going inactive for a bit, or they could say "thanks for bringing that to my attention, I'll have a talk with <username> and see what's going on".

It should be fine as long as they are being done.
It's not worth the effort to start doing one a day if there isn't more. So we wait for more to do them all at onces.

from what i have seen many ban requests that I have seen contain incomplete proof or direction towards the infractions (ones i myself submitted included). sometimes they may even be impossible to resolve
of the five or six mod's that i have interacted with all have been helpful, prompt to respond, and friendly

this is just lazy... why would you wanna stack pile them. you are only going to do 1 or 2 at a time maybe a lil more idk i dont watch you.
so why not just do them along the way?
