ENT Gaming

I understand that ENT has a pretty lax leaver ban system, but I've noticed that leaving is starting to become a huge problem. 5 of my last 6 games on my main account (xtreme_violence) have had at least two leavers from one team or the other leave significantly earlier than the game ended.

3 in a row on my alias "LBJ" have had at least two leavers significantly early. 3 of the last five on my alias "Forfeit" have had this issue as well. My last two games on "Epic" were games where people started disconnecting under 15 minutes (which does play a small part in the leaver problem, and I agree that you shouldnt be banned for d/c). You can check all these out for yourself if you'd like.

Is there any way that these bans might be extended more than they already are? The statistics come out to be 13 of my last 16 games ruined by excessive leavers. Managing with a leaver is rough, but managing with 2+ is ridiculous. It's at the point where it's completely ruined my gaming experience for the past week and is only getting worse. Maybe some policies can be reevaluated?

Usually I wouldn't complain about something this trivial except that it's at the point where I'm going to switch to DotaCash for a bit until ENT clears up (if it does). Hopefully this can be at least discussed.

What do you mean by "lax"? The autobans are usually longer here, comparing to DotACash.

Before I posted this, I tried searching for a thread regarding ENT's ban policies (e.g. how long of a ban "leaving" is, recidivist ban extensions, etc.) and couldn't find one. Could you link me to a thread if there is one? I want to read something before I spout off ignorance.

I don't think there is one. The default ban length is three hours. If you have left other games in the same week, or if you're playing on a new account, then the ban length is increased to as long as four days.

Alright. Just move to "processed" then if you don't mind. Seems like the IP ban has issues though. I know I've been temp banned before for having to afk for a few mins, and I just made a new account and played without a problem.. so idk

Lol, autoban might've been disabled for a week or so, not too sure. Anyway should be working now. Also added some extra settings to ban longer for high _leave_ rate (as opposed to the existing condition for stay rate).
