Hi!
First of all I love what you guys are doing, I've enjoyed everything you're doing and been around for many years now.
I am in this situation where I begun to play quite a lot again recently, but I got this "problem" called a Pi-hole, a raspberry pi which filters out all advertisments and other malicious websites I configured it to use my VPN on all my network as well which means that everytime I want to play I need to shut it down sadly.
After being around for years I am fully aware of the "no VPN" policy, but I imagine it being a rule to secure that people don't avoid their bans. However I was thinking that simply whitelisting a single user wouldn't hurt, since I wouldn't be able to dodge the ban if that user was banned for XY reason.
I was thinking about this and searched at the discord and noticed another guy there had his username whitelisted so he could use his VPN while playing. I asked at the discord but a mod told me they wasn't allowed to do such thing, but I could make a post on the ban appeal forum for transparency reasons - since I'm not banned I choosed to make it here instead.
I would like to ask whether this is possible for me? In case it's not then I would like to know what the reason for this is, how can it be abused in theory and why does that rule only apply to some?
Kind regards and Merry Christmas!
