Wc3connect does not allow you to make the same username as your forum account

Hello I'm having issues with my Wc3connect, the issue is, my bnet account is gc995, it works fine I played a ton of RPGs on it, and I learned of Ent a while back and created an account to host games, now wc3connect came out and now here's my issue, when I first got wc3connect I thought ok this is cool I can login with my forum account, then I go to login and it says that the password is wrong, so I change it on the forum cause I thought I forgot it, then try to login again and I thought to myself "hunh, this is weird." so I change it again and try again and it doesn't work so I say f*** it, and create a new account with the same name it says it's already taken and now I'm pissed off cause literally the only time my username is taken is when I create an account... this username is so unique and nobody would want it. Now, I result to making a new name but this didn't occur to me when I made the new account, the LAN name has to be the same as your wc3connect account or you will be D/C'ed. And now I'm pissed even further cause now I can't use any of the 1000's of codes I've generated from playing so many different RPG's. Is there a way to merge or change the name of my Wc3connect to fit the Username: gc995

I saw that someone else in a different post got there account "imported" is there a way to automatically do that? or something to initiate it? I'm pretty sure that's the issue at this point.

I have gone ahead and copied over your forum accounts password hash. This means you'll be able to use your forum password for your in-game wc3connect password.

At this time, this is the only method for changing your password.
Eventually, we plan to incorporate a feature for users to change their own password.
