Name transfering

Sorry this is probably a dumb question but if someone gives you their account; password, email etc.. is it okay or even possible to change the name of it? why i ask is yesterday the 18, i joined a game with adventurevclub and he whispered me to go into channel with him which ultimately ended up him giving me that account and password, saying he had more important things to do than comp games. So my question is, is it possible for me to even change the name? Thank!

Why should you give your password to an unknown person on bnet?! oO
This guy who whispered you, if you have some evidence about how he is acting like an ent admin, he will get a ban for it.

Seriously! i thought the same thing, adventureclub accnt is beyond GODLIKE status.. hehe and i dont really have evidence other than i can log on that account using a new password i made for it. (He made a new password, gave it to me and told me to change it once logged in)
But for the name, i dont really know what you mean by Forum?? but what i was wondering was change the name so when i join games/look up stats its not adventureclub but a new name that i came up with?

You could have the stats transferred to a different account if you validate all the accounts involved via Ent Link. What realm did he give you access to, because several different people have used that name on different realms and the one on Europe and Asia are both banned.
